Jace:

"And maybe it is," she says, stirring the spaghetti and then placing the plates on the table. "Maybe he was just a distraction."
I shake my head, disgusted. "He was a fucking expensive distraction, Gab."
She raises an eyebrow. "Are you putting a price tag on him?"
"Well, I did have to buy tickets to get out of there, didn't I?"
Her fork drops. "So he was worth only a few hundreds? Is that it?"
I roll my eyes. "Of course not. I had to pay for this house, too." Maybe if I got her mad she wouldn't think...I had to try not to wince.
Her fist slams down on the table, making me jump. "Really? I thought he was your friend, Jace."

Hehe.

Tara: I hummed softly to myself, knowing it would seem like an eternity in this cell of a bathroom.

Jace: A chill went down my spine. She would've nevey played this card. "He was, Gab! He was everything! To all of us! You're the one who managed to kill him! It was all your fault, dammit!"
The knife stuck in the table. "It wasn't! You...you could've stopped him!"

Tara: I hear them fighting and squeezed my eyes shut, hoping he didn't make her made enough to kill him. I liked Jace too much to lose him so soon.

Jace: "How? You...you did everything you could to make his life a living hell, just like you're doing to me! Only, the difference this time is that I actually have a life! I'm not attached to you! You're a leech! I don't know what you expected me to do!"
"I expected you to be there, Jace! When everything messed up, when I messed everything up, I expected you to fix it! That's what friends do!"
I lay down my last card. "We aren't friends, Gab. We will never be friends."

Tara: I heard the distant rumble of tires, and smiled to myself. Hopefully Gabriela wouldn't hear. I just could hear because I had nothing else to listen to, if that made sense.

Jace:
She shakes her head, dislodging the knife. "I gave everything to you. My life. My boyfriend. My trust. You took it and you twisted it. I have nothing now, you understand? And you...you got off scott free."
"Maybe that's because I didn't bully someone to suicide."
"I didn't bully him!" she screams, bringing down the knife. It slices past my arm and I gasp.
"Dammit, Gab. You just can't stop killing people, can you?"
She yells in frustration, throwing the knife so it lodges into the wall. "You're a bastard, you know that?"
I nod, starting to feel dizzy. "Yeah. I know." And then it went black.

?! Why'd he go black?

Tara: The tow truck pulled in, and the guy who must be towing, came and knocked on the door.

Loss of blood. XD I was bored.

Gabriela cursed and knocked a chair down, trying to get out of there. There was a back door, she remembered. Then she looked at Jace. "Help!" she screamed. "I'm in here!"

And then she disappeared.

Tara: I heard a scream and frowned as the tow truck guy busted down the door and ran inside.

Eh. I got nothing.

Tara: I picked the lock of the bathroom with a bobby pin, and ran out, to see Jace passed out. Or dead. Oh shit, oh shit! My eyes grew huge, and I saw that Gabriela had left behind our cells in her haste. I grabbed mine and dialed 911, ignoring the tow truck guy. An ambulance would be straight over.

Yup. But...Jace is still passed out.

Tara: When the ambulance arrived, they carted Jace off. I followed in my car, and then went to his hospital room. He had only passed out, loss of blood. They'd be questioning both he and I later. In a few minutes, they said he'd wake up. I went and sat near his bed, looking out the window.

Lockie: "Seems like you surround yourself with funny people, the girl you like is "funny" too."

Jace: I coughed, my hands flying out wildy. "Shit!"

Tara: I raised an eyebrow at him. "You're okay now, Jace. The doctors fixed you up..."

Jace: I blinked. "Come here, Tara."

Tara: "Oh-kay..." I got up in confusion and went over to his bedside. "What?"
