Tara: I sighed and we walked in.

Jace: "I know what I'll make you eat...you can dip your bread in soup."

Tara; "Fine."

Jace: My smile grows. "You sound like I'm forcing you to do something."

Tara: "You are."

Jace: "Well, I'm doing that for your health. You should know to eat better," I told her, leading her to a table.

Tara: I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."

Jace: I hug her. "Don't roll your eyes. It makes me feel stupid."

Tara: Maybe you are stupid, I almost said, but then realized how mean that would sound. "Can't make any promises, it's a habit.

Jace: I frown. "But you are going to eat something other than bread, right?"

Tara: "Sure."

Jace: I smile and kiss her forehead. "Thank you."

Tara: "You're welcome?" I said like a question as we got to the front of the line to order.

Jace: I shrug and hand her the credit card.

Tara: My eyes widened. "You have a credit card?!"

Jace: I frown at her. "Tara..."

Tara: "What?" It was crazy that he had a credit card at this age.

Jace: I smile. "You make it sound weird."

Tara: "It /is/ weird!"

Jace: I roll my eyes. "Then stop bringing attention to it. It makes me feel awkward."

Tara: "Well it's really weird," I repeated in a mumble, handing the cashier the credit card.

Jace: I sigh. "No, Tara, it's not. Come on. Give me a break."

Tara: "Yes it is." i said so quietly he probably hadn't heard, as the lady handed the card back, and I handed it to Jace.

Jace: I hide it from Tara quickly. "This feels like fast food," I mutter.

Tara: "Why?" I laughed. "We have to wait for them to call your name, then we get the food...so they at least have to make it unlike at fast food places."
