CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Milo walked over to Ami, "Are you okay on the couch?"

Ami
I curl up, manage to pull a blanket over myself. "A couch is a five star hotel compared to the past." I blink my eyes and look up at him. "She's quiet for now, no need to worry."

Sparrow: I shivered from the temperature difference of not having Milo's body heat. I reached for a blanket that wasnt there and got a handful of air. My body quivered again and I curled in closer to myself.

Milo nodded solemnly and placed his hand on Ami's shoulder before leaving her in peace. He sauntered quietly over to where he had left Sparrow and slipped into the room. "Spar...?"

Sparrow: I pulled my head up to see who was talking to me, glad to have it be Milo. I tugged on his arm and made him sit next to me, "Keep me company?"
I shifted my little ball so I was sitting upright and leaning against his warmth. "Why am I always the one to get hurt?" I griped, though my grumbling was muffled by my knees.

Finn sauntered to stand next to Cricket, trying to think of something to say to lighten the mood. He gave up and whistled a meaningless tune. Anything to fill the silence. He was dying to know exactly what happened while he was gone, but at the same time, he didn't want to know, much less ask.

Yet again, I felt awkward. I leaned my back against the wall, sliding down until I was sitting on my behind on the floor. I thought I felt a burst of power in the distance that quickly faded, but I wasn't sure.
Rule of thumb, Aiolii reminded me, if you're not sure, assume it's a Sybek.
I know, I know. Next you'll be telling me to make sure I wash behind my ears!
I'm saying it for my benefit, Aiolii defended weakly. If you go out, so do I!
I knew she was joking, and she knew I knew. She was just being protective of me, like any soul.

I tipped my head back and closed my eyes.

"Now where the hell is this?" I asked myself in Pedla, grumbling. My joints ached, and I felt fatigue pulling at my limbs.
"It's a place called Luna," Helen answered in English, fixing her red hood. "Speak English here."
"Du we have du?" Likel complained, also in English. "Id's hard!"
"Yes, you have to. You want to blend in, don't you?" Helen's remark wasn't snide; by her tone, it almost sounded like she was honestly asking the question. I knew better, and so did Likel. It was one of those odd suggestions-that-were-really-commands that Helen often gave. Masked as they were, they were still orders.
"And quid yur whining, Likel," I said teasingly. "Yu sahnd like a child."
"Shud up, Na'arsif," she answered. She was trying to keep a straight face, but she wasn't entirely successful. I could see the beginnings of a smile touching the corners of her mouth.
"Come on, now," Helen said, brusquely clapping her hands. "We have a contact here we need to meet, and we don't want to keep him waiting. Are your faces properly covered?"
"I'm gud," I answered, gripping the edge of my scarf just to be sure. It obscured my face below my eyes; the shadows from my hood handled the rest. Mittens covered my hands, and my robes hid my legs. Likel was dressed the same way. I have to say, clothed like this, I really didn't feel like one of the heroes. The bad guys hid themselves in this manner, not us.
"Fine here," Likel spoke. I could tell from the look in her eyes that she was thinking the same thing I was. Helen was lucky, able to show her face without worry like that.
"Alright, then we're off."
The three of us exited the alley we had arrived in and headed into the city.

Milo's body shook with restrained laughter, "Your temper gets in the way. You know that there isn't-" Sparrow slapped her hand over his mouth and gave him a stern glare.

Oooh...*wishes she had charries available in Luna*

Sparrow: "I don't want to talk about it." I said quietly as I adverted my eyes, knowing he was trying to make light of what happened back there. I removed my hand from his lips. I went to wrap his fingers in mine and hesitated.
With a sigh, I pulled my hand back and wrapped it around myself.
"Not now, anyway."

I sigh, rub my eyes. I still wasn't in such a great condition. Even if i was perfect, i couldn't block Ayakashi. My eyes wander over to the guy from the fighting ring. I still couldn't get in his head for whatever reason.

"There." I take my hands from Cricket's shoulders with a smile. "All better."

Milo searched Sparrows face, and when he found nothing there he slid off the bed and walked to the door. He stopped at the frame placing his fist on the side and tapping a few beats. He turned his head slightly, showing for once how tired he really was. "You should get some sleep."

Finn noticed the new person on the floor, and suddenly felt guilty. He looked very alone. He sauntered over to him and slid down the wall next to him. "We 'aven't officially met. I'm Finn," he said with a grin.

Oh yeah...she's pretty underdeveloped, but I suppose I could use her Winter, would you like someone to run into your charries?

((Sure I have to go to bed after this post, though.))

I smiled at Finn.
"My name ees Senet," I replied. "Nice to meet you."

((Haha, that was short. Well, g'night, all!))

Cricket winced when she touched him, but then looked up at her when he felt it fade away. He smiled. "Ah...what I would 'ave done fore healing powers back 'ome. Where've you been all these years?" He felt around his neck.

Sparrow: My gaze stayed fixed on him. "We will talk." It wasnt a question of whether or not it would happen. It was a question of who felt braver and spoke up first.
I got up and grabbed a blanket from the closet, throwing it over myself and lying on the futon.
I was too conflicted to be tired. Who has the time to waste energy being tired anymore? Why sleep when you can torture yourself over boys and bitches and random outburtst of evil?

Milo let his hand drop from the door frame and walked out without looking back. He appeared silently in the living room and sat in the chair opposite Ami, who was still awake. After a moment of silence he said lowly, "Ami...can you tell me what you meant? 'More than caring' and 'shock'. I need to know so that next time--so that next time I can help you."

Hmm...may as well answer to Winter I'll probably have to repost later tho

"Pleasure," Finn said. "So, ah...we've got plant-talkers, fire-controllers, supernatural-strength-users, the works all 'ere. What're you again?"
