CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Red Wing gave a cold, satisfied smile. He stood from his desk and looked down at her. "Stand up, Wisp. If you're good, you can have your fun later." His smile vanished underneath his usual stone-hard stare. "You may show me a prisoner."

Wisp
I stand, biting my tongue. "Sir. Any preference on who?"

"Surprise me," he said.

Wisp
I nod, disappearing. Who then? The one who gave the most fight perhaps. I grab Eere and go into the interrogation room with her, chaining her to the chair while she's still unconscious.

((Which one's Eere again? xD I'm horrible with names, sorry. Oh, and where is everyone? Still in the gassy room?))

Red Wing walked into the interrogation room, looking down at her. As her lungs filled with oxygen again, she stirred.

lol. Jess. and i believe everyone's still there.

Jess
What happened? Where the heck am I? My vision lags, makes everything blurry and too bright. I squint and blink, but i recognize Red Wing and Wisp in the swirling colors.

"Rise and shine," Red Wing then turned to Wisp. "You may go have fun if you wish. If I need you, I'll call you back," he said, like a parent dismissing their child to play.

Jess
She bows her head to him submissively before disappearing, leaving me with him. Darn, i didn't kill him.

Red Wing looked back to her coldly. "I apologize for the inconvenience; did you really think you could rid the world of me so easily?"

Jess
"Excuse me if i decided to use self defense," i murmur, still shaking the fogginess in my head.

"Self defense?" Red Wing chuckled. "That's only a half-truth."

((Gosh interrigation is hard. But fun. Hmm....suddenly I miss Wisp again. Wisp/Cricket mehbeh? ALongside this scene, of course ))

Wisp
I can have my fun, huh? I appear, grabbing Cricket and going into a different room. My shoulders weren't bothering me as much. Accelerated healing taking away most of the pain. I chain him up and wait, grabbing a chair and sitting just out of his reach.

Jess
"Right. Suddenly getting attacked doesn't count as a good enough reason for it. I get it," i say sarcastically.

Red Wing paced, toying with his gun. "Defense, yes, but not always for yourself. You would do anything for your friends. An admirable trait."

Cricket's senses crept back. He felt something cold beneath him. At first he didn't think much of it, just wanted to let the drowsiness take over. But he blinked awake, staring down at his lap for a moment before noticing the chains. That was odd. Then everything came rushing back. He slowly looked up to meet her eyes.

Jess
"Yes," i confirm. "We've been through a ton thanks to all of you people."

Wisp
I smile, resting my head on my hand. "Cricket," i greet.

"Then I'm sure you would hate to let any harm come to them," Red Wing continued. His voice was strangly friendly, though his face remained stone-hard. He may as well have been chatting over coffee.

Cricket's expression slowly darkened. "What do you want?"

Jess
I chuckle. "Yeah, i wouldn't. Not like i'm able to really stop it here, chained to a wall with that gas being pumped through this room to block my powers."

Wisp
Hm. What did i want... "I believe i want to figure you out. You're quite puzzling to me."

"Oh, good, you're catching on. Now, for the benefit of your friends I suggest you answer a few questions for me." Red Wing stopped and looked at her.

Well, that wasn't good. Cricket studied her, trying to see where she was heading. "Figure me out, aye?" He let some hair fall into his eyes. "How so?"

Jess
"I answer them, you'll just put more of my friends in danger. Ami, Sarah, Milo, Angel, and.....alright, even Sparrow..." I grumble, rolling my eyes. "I know my friends /here/ wouldn't want that."

Wisp
I tilt my head, trying to figure it out myself. "Friendship...you feel it, yes?"

Red Wing hit his rifle under her chin, forcing her to look at him. "Then you'll be forced to make a difficult choice, I'm afraid."

Cricket didn't answer at first. She reminded him so much of Ami. When she didn't have a knife or a gun in her hand, her childlike mind showed through. "...sometimes," he said cautiously.

Jess
I smirk at him just to annoy him. Hm. What would Kim do in this situation? I'm totally not cut out for this... "Ask and i just /might/ answer. If i feel like it."

Wisp
"Why did you run then?" I question.

Red Wing smacked her in the chin with the butt of his gun before pulling back. "Then you'll answer unless you feel like doing this the hard way. Where is Ayakashi?"

Cricket took a breath. He didn't answer, letting his head hang again.

Jess
"Didn't i just say i'm not putting anymore of them in danger?" I mutter.

Wisp
I pull my knees up with me on the chair and stare at him. "Why'd you run?" I ask again.

"You misunderstand. By not answering, you're doing just that." Red Wing said.

Cricket looked at the drying blood that still covered his shirt, circling the place where a bullet hole used to be. "Because I knew you'd bring me here," he said quietly.

Jess
"By not answering you're not finding her either," i shoot back at him

Wisp
I tilt my head, chewing the inside of my cheek thoughtfully. "Are you scared of what they might do to you?" I ask, catching his glance. "Or to your friends?"

Red Wing looked sternly at her before suddenly walking out of the room, the lock clicking behind him. He was headed to the captives' room. Which one to take?

"What if I decide not to answer?" Cricket said, still not looking at her, half to test her patience and half because he wasn't sure of the answer himself.
