Emily: following Cricket.....

Yes!

Cricket led Emily through the halls silently, looking very proffessional. All of the halls looked the same. A few guards and people in white coats passed every now and then, but they didn't seem to notice them too much. He glanced at Emily in the corners of his eyes, wondering if she saw any hint of an exit. Maybe they would have to follow someone and see where they ended up.

Okay, they were pretty far away now. Let's do this thing. I would stick out like a sore thumb if I tried to find the center of technology, or a lab, so I would just have to work with what I had now. But wait, there was no way I could cause a distraction through the whole building like this... I was going to have to risk it. I walked casually through the halls, darting into doorways when somebody passed, until I found the sucurity center. I picked the lock, knocked out the guards, and pressed intercom "Hello, hello, hello, people of area 51! This is your friendly neighborhood announcer here." I said in an overly cheery announcer voice

"Well this is unique," i murmur, looking up at one of the PA speakers. She was good, i'll give her that.

Cricket bit his cheek to keep from laughing as he heard the voice, and ducked into a door as one guard walked through, only to find himself in yet another hallway. He sighed. This wasn't working. He casually walked past a doctor and slipped the keys off of him. They had numbers engraved on them. '521,' one said, and happy day, there was room 521 right there in the hallway. He waited by it until the hall was empty except for one guard, unlocked the door, grabbed the guard and Emily and pulled them inside. He locked the door behind them. "Where's the exit?" He said, hitting the guard's own gun underneath his chin.

"Now you're all probably wondering 'who the 'ell is this chick'?! Well, I'm here to tell you, friends. A long, long time ago" My voice suddenly got very dramatic "there was a girl. And this girl, she had a dream. Her dream was to be the radio announcer for a top secret government placy mc bob." I was starting to fake tear up now "And you know what? I AM THAT GIRL. Look at me now, folks, take a good long loo- er, well, listen. Guess you can't really see me. Take a good long listen. This is where hard work, talent, and a stunning personality gets you!" I gave myself a round of applause

The guard glared at Cricket, unsure of what to do. Then he pressed the distress signal on his belt, sending ten more to his location in a matter of minutes

They bang on the door and i silently curse, very unlike me. I put a hand to the door and ice it shut. It won't hold forever but it'll by us some time.

Marley
Oh crap, there were guards closing in on their location, I could tell by the cameras. Okay, what to do, what to do... I flipped a switch, locking the door with a click. I felt like some kind of flippen gauridian angel. But the guards tried harder, and it looked like the door was slowly bowing under pressure... what to do, what to... "Hey, what's this big button do? Blow up the base? Maybe I should press it!"

Emily
"Cricket, hurry." I grab the doorknob and make it burningly cold. I hear one curse as he tries it. I close my eyes, holding the door the best i can.

Marley
"Button, button, whose got the button?" I muttered, flipping a bunch of swiches that set off alarms on the other side of the base, sending the entire place into panic and confusion

Shit. "They come in, I'll shoot," Cricket said cooley, with a smile. He pressed the gun harder up under his chin. "C'mon, friend, answer and I'll let you go. You might catch me any'ow after that. I'm just trying not t' get mutated into an unrecogniseable species 'ere. Where's th' exit?"

The door to the security center burst open. A guard stood there with his gun raised, looking in hidden shock at the girl at the intercom. He pressed the distress button on his belt.

The guard pointed wordlessly at a hallway, which actually doubled back to the main corridor "Please just don't hurt me"

Marley
"Oh, um... hullo there. I just chased off some crazy girl controlling the radio. The nerve of some people, am I right?" I was still too out of it to use my powers, but I did manage to tear a tiny screen off a wall and hurl it at his head

Kim
I chuckle as an alarm goes off.
"What the hell? The anthrax alarm?" I hear one scientist.
"Sounds like you're prisoners are acting up again," i tease Red Wing.

Then I turned back to the controllers, knowing there wasn't much time left before I was captured, and flipped another set of alarms. Too bad the swiches to the cells weren't in this room, that would be interesting. "Well, looks like my time is up, kiddes. See you all next time!"

"That'a boy." Cricket smiled, and whacked him over the head with the butt of the gun. The guard slumped to the floor. "Ready, Ems?"

The guard stood his ground and took out his tranq. Several other guards showed up and blocked the exit. pfew pfew pfew! Three darts shot out at the girl.

I nod. "We better hurry." I look back at the door, still swarming with guards behind it. What about the others?

Marley
I heard many footsteps outside, and I smashed everything I could possibly smash, setting off another slew of alarms, but I made sure it didn't set off any alarms that would seal the doors. I damaged millions of dollars of equitment as a final 'screw you, 51', before I felt a dart hit my back, then another. Darkness quickly ate at my vision, but I ripped it out, pain searing through my back, before they could quite knock me out. I fell to the ground, the third one soaring over me. Everything was blurry, bit I wasn't... quite... out... yet...
