Dakota: I raised an eyebrow. "Curfew is 11 for me." Well, actually my parents didn't really care, but I set one for myself just because.

Brok: I started pretending to skip, energized and feeling pretty pumped. The new songs were pretty awesome. I couldn't wait for their release.

Dakota: "Who's the little girl here?" I laughed at his "skipping."

Brok: I grinned. "I just have a lot of energy right now."

Dakota: "I don't really think I can be seen with a guy who skips," I joked.

Brok: I stopped skipping but kept smiling anyway. "You know you can't resist it."

Dakota: "Yeah, skipping is a TOTAL turn-on," I said sarcastically as we walked.

Brok: I laughed. "Not a lot of people do it. You have to admit, it's special."

Dakota: "That's one way to put it." I smiled.

Brok: I faked a frown. "You don't think it's special?"

Dakota: "No, it's very special! Everyone's special in their own way," I gushed fakely like some 2nd grade teacher, then rolled my eyes.

Brok: I laughed. "Thanks. I feel so much specialer."

Dakota; I nodded. "As you should."

Brok: I grinned but decided to stop skipping. We continued walking over to the Fanta Center while I searched for my keys.

Dakota: Fanta Center...I smiled to myself.

Brok: "Dang it," I said, trying to find my keys. Where had I put them?

Dakota: "What is it?" I looked over at him.

Brok: "I can't remember where I put my keys," I said. "I know I have some, though."

Dakota: "Keys to...?"

Brok: "Get in the door?"

Dakota: "Oh. Hm. Is there some way I can help you find them?" I asked slowly. I was pretty forgetful myself, so I was no good at finding things.

Brok: I shoved my hands in my back pockets. "I don't know. Wait." I finally found them tangled in my headphones. A few gum wrappers dropped to the ground as I shook them out.

Dakota: "All of that was in your pockets?" I raised my eyebrows, amused.
