The Summer that changed my life forever...

Dakota: I didn't object to him paying - that would be a completely cliche move. Besides, I could keep the money I'd brought for something else. And guys were supposed to pay on dates, right? If this was a date...and money didn't seem to matter much to him, anyway. "Thanks Br-, uh...Bro." I laughed.

(HAHAHAAHAHA!)

Brok: "Welcome, sis," I said, smiling at how she'd caught herself. I could only like this girl more.

Dakota: I fought back the urge to roll my eyes. Great, so now I had turned this into something where we could hardly act like we were on a date. Shoot. Oh well. Less pressure that way, right? The guy handed us our ice cream. "Where should we sit?"

Brok: I nodded to an obscure table in the corner. "Over there."

Dakota: We went and sat down. "So we're siblings now. Does this mean I can come live on the jet with you and Trey?" I was completely, 100% kidding, of course. Just going along with the earlier slip-up.

Brok: I laughed. "Hm. I wonder if Kent would approve. I don't know. Try him."

Dakota: "I wouldn't take up that much space. I could live in your closet," I decided. "If you have a closet, that is. And if it's tall enough for me to stand in."

Brok: I laughed. "Again, this would depend on Kent. I don't know if he'd entertain the idea."

(I really like Brok and Dakota :3 they're fun!)

Dakota: I sighed dramatically. "Well darn." I licked around the bottom of my ice cream, so that the drips wouldn't get all over my hands.

Brok: I laughed. "Dude, seriously. Kent would freakin' pull a knife out and wave it at you if he stumbled upon you."

(I don't want him to go away on tour >.> poor little Dakota)

Dakota: "Isn't it every man's dream to find a woman in his closet, just waiting?" I joked. "Then again, that would be considered molestation...never mind."

(I knowwwww D:. He'll come visit though, like Shane does Traysee.)

Brok: I raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, um, no. I think I like my closet woman-less," I said, trying to not think of Fiona.

Dakota: "Even if it were me?" I pouted, then blushed slightly not realizing how exceedingly dirty that sounded, when I'd meant it as a joke. "Er, forget I said that."

Brok: I raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, let's," I said, scooping some ice-cream and dumping it into my mouth.

(I had a little mini heart attack because I thought you left when things were getting extra interesting D:)

Dakota: I gulped, silently eating my ice cream. I slid down in my seat a little, wanting to disappear. Usually I said just the right thing to Brok...I got a little carried away, I guess.

(haha, nah, I was writing Jesse a review for IFU, which I finally finished.)

Brok: I raised an eyebrow at Dakota. "Seriously, don't worry about it."

(lol, but after he's already gotten into the top five xD)

Dakota: "Worry about what?" Meaning, let's really just forget about what I said.

(yeah, I like waiting for people to finish posting everything )

Brok: "Nothing," I said. "I'm almost done."

(ohhh got it *nods*)

Dakota: Wow, that meant we were already going to end our date or whatever this was? Darn. "Same..."

Brok: "We could get more," I joked.

Dakota: I rolled my eyes. "Yeah -" I was about to make a comment, but then realized it was related to money and would be possibly hurtful. So I cut off. "Um. Yeah, right," I finished lamely.

Brok: I laughed. "Nah, I don't think I can eat more. I was definitely kidding."

Dakota: "So was I." And I was. I sighed. "I don't think I can even finish what I have." I tossed the remainder of my ice cream in the trash.

Brok: I watched her throw the food away before nodding outside. "Let's go, then."

Dakota: "Aw, I have to go home already?"
