Brok: "No, I have it pretty good," I said. "I agree. I know that. But it comes with a price." I winced, thinking of my ex-girlfriend. "It's not really pain I deal with all the time. But it's pain all the same."

Dakota: I paused. "Can we quit talking about this?" I didn't want to argue.

(oh, she dated him, slept with trey thinking he was brok, broke up with brok, slept with him a few months later, told him they were over, and he still crushes on her.)

Brok: I nodded even though she couldn't see me. "Gladly. So, wanna still talk, or do you need to sleep now?"

(haha yeahhhh no kidding.)

(whoa. you should bring her in for drama between Dakota and Brok xD)

Dakota: "I want to sleep...'Night."

(bwahaha. maybe. she's the one that's in trey's story now.)

Brok: "Okay, me too," I said. "See you tomorrow, Dakota."

(hehehe xD but it's pretty horrible that she slept with his brother >.> and it's even worse that Trey didn't stop her!)

Dakota: I hung up and went to sleep.

(heh heh. trey didn't know, though. poor kid. he didnt' know until she locked the door.)

Brok: I took a nap too, looking forward to the next day.

(oh wow o.o)

*skips to next day*

Dakota: It was almost time to meet Brok. I pulled out my little safe I'd bought from underneath my bed and unlocked it. Yes, I lived in the kind of neighborhood where safes should used. I pulled out some money and counted it. That should be enough...

Brok: When I got it up, it was two thirty. Nah. Just a little more sleep...

Dakota: I ran a brush through my hair and put on eye makeup, which is all I ever wore. Just mascara and eyeliner.

Brok: Finally, I got up at two forty-five and threw some clothes on, running out to meet Dakota.

Dakota: I was already in my car, and got there just a couple minutes early.

Brok: I kept my head down as I hurried into the ice-cream shop.

Dakota: "Hey B-" I was about to say his name, but then I realized he was probably trying to stay in hiding or something. "Just hey."

Brok: I laughed. "Just hey? That's not my name. But yeah, I rather not get spotted. Let's keep it quiet."

Dakota: I pressed my lips together as if to say silent and nodded once. I glanced at the flavor board for the ice cream place. "What kind are /you/ going to get?"

Brok: "A mix of everything, if possible."

Dakota: "Everything? GROSS." I wrinkled my nose.

Brok: I laughed. "No spinach, though."

Dakota: "It's still gross, anyway."

Brok: I laughed. "I know. But hey, deal with."

Dakota: I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to get ONE flavor like a NORMAL person," I teased.

Brok: I laughed. "Alright. You go ahead and be boring and normal."

Dakota: "I /will/, and I'll enjoy it, too." I tried to keep a serious face, but ended up laughing a little. I went up to the counter. "One scoop of...Raspberry Chip, on a sugar cone."

Brok: I grinned. "And I'll have the rainbow," I said. "And I'm paying for both."
