Greg: I shrugged. "I don't remember what people say because of that reason."

Aria: "That's understandable." This conversation has suddenly become more depressing. "So....what kind of music do you listen to?"

Greg: I shrugged. "Down 15th Street, mostly, because of Dakota."

(fiction band.)

Aria: "Got it. Never heard of them."

(Alrighty.)

Greg: "Really? One of the actresses is in the band as lead singer."

Aria: "Oh, really? That's cool. Which actress?"

Greg: "Dakota Roan."

(one of my characters.)

(Alright....so, would you say she's famous? For the sake of this comment, I guess she is...haha.)

Aria: "Oh, cool, I've heard of her! She's really good."

(yeah.)

Greg: I nodded. "Yeah. I'm surprised you haven't heard of the band."

(Alright.)

Aria: I shrug. "Yeah, well, what kind of music is the band? What genre? I listen to pretty obscure music, and not much mainstream."

Greg: "It's pop, I think. I don't know genres well."

Lolita - I had zoned out, but now I zoned back in. "It's pop." I nod. It was what I listened to.

Greg: "Ah, you listen to them?"

Lolita - I smile, "Yes, it's the only 'acceptable' music according to my dad," I tell them. "It gains more popularity, and so it gains more votes."

Greg: I laugh. "Dakota will enjoy hearing that."

Aria: I nod. "Oh, got it," I say after hearing what Lolita said. And then, after what Greg said, I quickly asked, "Wait, you know Dakota? That's cool! Then again, you are an actor. I suppose it's inevitable or something."

Lolita - I look at him, "Is Dakota the girlfriend or is that someone else?"

Greg: "We work on the same movies, so yeah, I know her. She's the best friend of my girlfriend."

Lolita - My phone vibrates lightly in my purse, "Excuse me." I say getting my phone out and answering it. "Hello?" I say and hear my dad on the other end. "Dear, I need you to start dating someone acceptable, have a boyfriend that will get us more votes by the end of the week, or I'll pick one for you." My dad says before hanging up. I shut my phone, "Oh shit." I whisper.

Greg: I raised my eyebrows. "What's up?"

Aria: I look at Lolita. "Yeah, what is it?"

Lolita - I put my head in my hands. "I have to get a voters' approved boyfriend by the end of the week or my dad is going to pick one for me!" I gasp.

Greg: "That doesn't sound good."

Aria: I look to Greg, and suddenly, I get an idea. "Greg, maybe you could pretend to be Lolita's boyfriend!" As soon as the words are out, I realize this is a bad idea for a couple of reasons: 1) He already has a girlfriend 2) I just felt a pang of jealousy, which is strange. I thought I didn't like Greg at all, not even really as a human being.

Greg: I raised an eyebrow. "I could, but why should I?"
