Dakota: "I don't have any ideas!" I whined. "And we can't do much in half an hour, anyway. Now it's more like 20 minutes."

Brok: "Then let's sit and just talk," I suggested. "Think of something for tomorrow."

Dakota: "I have work tomorrow, sorry." I frowned.

Brok: "After work?" I tried. "Can we have dinner together?"

Dakota: I smiled. "Okay, if you want."

Brok: I grinned. "Awesome. How does Mr. McMuffin sound?"

(ficticious place.)

(lol. do they sell muffins there?)

Dakota: I nodded. "That's sounds good."

(yes, surprisingly.)

Brok: "It is," I said. Color Power boys always brought their girls there. "I'm surprised we haven't eaten an actual meal together yet."

(anything besides muffins? xD)

Dakota: "Yeah, that's kind of one of those typical dates, isn't it?"

(yes. normal food too.)

Brok: "Hey. Only typical people need typical dates."

(Mr. McMuffin is a funny name xD. Is it in your book?)

Dakota: "True, and we're definitely not typical. I mean, who else spends part of their date discussing plastic bags?"

(yeah, haha. don't know how I came up with it.)

Brok: I smirked. "Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?" I sang.

Dakota: I laughed. "Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again."

Brok: "Do you ever feel just so paper thin?"

Dakota: "Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in."

Brok: "Do you ever feel already buried deep?"

Dakota: "Six feet under, scream, but no one seems to hear a thing."

Brok: "And...I forgot the rest."

Dakota: I laughed. "The only reason I know it is because these stupid girls come in everyday and listen to all this cutesy pop stuff. I like pop, but not Katy Perry."

Brok: "Her stuff is really...catchy. And her music videos..." I shuddered. "Paul made me watch them. Ugh. I did not need to see all that skin."

Dakota: "Yeahhh." My phone rang and I groaned. "Really?" I muttered. Yup, my mom texting me. I sighed and stood up. "I gotta go."

Brok: "Seriously?" I sighed and gave her a hug. "I'm gonna miss you."

Dakota: I smiled and hugged him back. "You'll survive until tomorrow at dinner, I think."

Brok: "Yeah. But I'll still miss you."

Dakota: "I'll miss you, too."
