The Summer that changed my life forever...

Brok: I grinned. "That's the first time you've ever said that."

Dakota: I let out a little laugh. "Your point?"

Brok: I shrugged. "I don't really have one. I was just pointing it out."

Dakota: "Okay." I smiled. I pulled away. "See ya tomorrow then."

Brok: I nodded. "Yeah. See you then," I said, watching her leave.

Dakota: I went home and ate dinner with my mom, no dad as usual. After dinner I went to and tried to write. This time I came up with something that wasn't half-bad.

Brok: I went back to the jet so I could practice. Kent reminded us we only had a week left in Colorado and I wondered what I was going to do about Dakota.

Dakota: I went on Google and searched Brok's band. Under "Images" there was a picture of him...in pink. I smirked to myself.

(Well, they have to leave eventually, right? sigh.)

Brok: I started looking through my phone and remembered I didn't have a picture of Dakota. Hm. That would have to change for tomorrow. Now to find a tux for dinner. Ugh. Oh well, it would be worth it.

(I know . And what sort of thing should she wear to dinner?)

Dakota: I sat on my bed and listened to music for a bit.

(somewhat fancy. or she can underdress and we'll see how that goes.)

Brok: I started playing games on my iPhone, but it wasn't as fun as it normally was.

(nah, she'll wear something fancy-ish.)

Dakota: I texted Brok:

According to Google you like to wear pink...should I be concerned?

(alright then.)

Brok: The text interrupted my game, but I didn't care. Instead, I typed back, "I'm special, remember?"

(if she owns something like that >.>)

Dakota:

"According to that Jelsa person...whoever she is."

Dakota: I rummaged through my closet. It was mostly filled with jeans and t-shirts. I sighed. Finally I came to a dress. Hm. It was just a little black one. Would that be fancy enough? Maybe if I had....aha heels. God, I hated walking in heels. But then would it be fancy enough? Maybe? I hoped som because that was the best I could do. I brushed out my hair, then tugged on the dress and heels. Now time to go. I got in my car and drove over to Mr. McMuffin. Weirdest. Name. Ever.

Brok: Crap. I got up late. I stole Trey's tux, hoping he wouldn't notice I had taken it, and started walking over to Mr. McMuffin with my cap on. Luckily, I could take it off when I was actually inside. It was a strange place, especially with its weird name, but whatever. At least it wasn't named after a vegetable like I was.

Dakota: I gout out of my car and spotted Brok coming down the street. I didn't want to call out to him, though, that would ruin his whole "incognito" thing.

Brok: I saw Dakota and waved to her. When I was close enough, I gave her a hug. "Hey."

Dakota: "Hey...please tell me you aren't wearing the hat inside."

Brok: I shook my head. "Nah. No one will notice me in there."

Dakota: "Kay, good." We went inside.

Brok: I smiled and took her hand. I told them I had a reservation for two under "Brok," and the waitress took us to a table.
