Brok: I nodded. "Yeah. It may or may not be good. We'll see how it turns out when it's recorded."

Dakota: "What's it about?"

Brok: This song? "Probably about Traysee again." I laughed. "I swear he writes something for her every week."

Dakota: "Wow. That's sweet, but a little obsessive at the same time...."

Brok: I laughed. "Exactly. We've tried telling him that, but he doesn't really listen. Oh well. Not much I can do about it."

Dakota: I shrugged. "Yeah. Does he show her all the stuff he writes for her?'

Brok: I nodded. "Of course. He'll cool down eventually, though. I hope. He used to be a lot more fun."

Dakota: "Does it bother Traysee?"

Brok: I shrugged. "Not really. She gets to sing some of the songs with him, so she actually enjoys it."

Dakota: "That's cool...."

Brok: I laughed. "Yeah. I guess they're lucky." I squeezed her hand. "Hope you don't mind I'm awful at songwriting."

Dakota: "Darn, I thought that was the whole point of dating a musician?" I fake-pouted for a moment then laughed. "Just kidding."

Brok: I laughed. "If that was the whole point, you could find lots of better musicians out there."

Dakota: "Nah, I don't want another musician. You're good enough."

Brok: I laughed. "Good enough?" I teased. "What if someone better comes along?"

Dakota: "Don't worry about that, it won't happen."

Brok: I laughed. "Okay, if you're so sure." I grinned at her and squeezed her hand. "So, where are we going tomorrow? Your turn to pick."

(*cough * build-a-bear *cough cough*)

Dakota: "Uh...build-a-bear." I was joking, though that sounded kind of fun.

(Yup.)

Brok: I raised an eyebrow. "Build-a-Bear?" I grinned. "Dude, I haven't been to one of those in forever. That sounds like a great idea!"

Dakota: I laughed. "Okay, it's a plan then."

Brok: I grinned. "Good. What time?"

Dakota: "5?" I got off of work at 4.

Brok: I sighed. "So late? Oh well. We can go to dinner again afterwards. Got anything in mind?"

Dakota: "I'm sorry," I mumbled. "And hm? uh, nope. Not Mr. McMuffin."

Brok: I laughed. "Yeah, let's not go there. We don't ever have good luck when we go there as a band. Or we could get take-out and hang at Traysee's house again."
