The Summer that changed my life forever...

Dakota: Bleh. Traysee's. It still was weird. "Maybe...."

Brok: "Well, would you rather go to the jet or Traysee's? It's up to you."

Dakota: "Traysee's," I answered quickly.

Brok: I laughed. "Do you really not like the jet that much?"

Dakota: "Uh...do I have to answer that?"

Brok: I shrugged. "Nah, it's fine. At least you're honest about it." I frowned. "Hey, what time is it now?"

Dakota: "Almost time for me to go."

Brok: I sighed. "How much longer do we have?"

Dakota: "15, 20 minutes."

Brok: I nodded, then smiled. "Think we can kiss for that long?"

Dakota: I laughed. "That's a lot of kissing."

Brok: "Apparently, the world record is longer than a day." I shrugged. "I bet we could do at least five minutes."

Dakota: "You knew that off the top of your head?" I laughed. "And hey, you told me you wouldn't tell me before we kissed. Now we're having an entire conversation about it."

Brok: "Shoot," I said. "So you don't want me to kiss you?"

Dakota: "I didn't say that," I said, stopping and turning to him with a smirk.

Brok: I laughed. "Good," I said, then wrapped my arms around her to kiss her.

Dakota: I kissed him back, putting my arms around his neck like last time.

Brok: I grinned. Next time, I really shouldn't warn her. Still, though. This was a lot of fun.

Dakota: I pressed a little closer to him, but didn't try the tongue thing again. I didn't want to laugh and have him think he messed up. Well, okay, he did kind of mess up but it wasn't that bad.

Brok: This time, I thought of no one but Dakota. Our love was so much purer and so much more innocent than anything I'd ever known before, except maybe Shane and Traysee. But forget them. I only wanted to think about Dakota right now.

Dakota: I wondered if he was thinking about kissing that Fiona girl, maybe he was even comparing her to me. Ugh.
