WHO'S READY TO PARTY?!?!?!?!?

Lena: "This may sound cliche, but I no exactly how you feel." I sighed. "All of my friends," Tara, I think "Are always pressuring me to be someone, be who they think I should be. Act a certain way, dress a certain way, talk a certain way, listen to certain music, the list goes on forever. They're trying to make me this 'ideal' person, even though they're far from perfect themselves. And they don't realize that when they try to change me, they hurt me. Is that sort of how you felt with Jillian?" I bit my lip, thinking that I sound like all of those Hollywood films based off of high school. Even though the setting isn't high school at all, and there isn't music playing in the background, music of victory. All I hear is the sound of the wind and my heartbeat.

('Kay, so Lena's story, like the one she's from, is about how she becomes a druggie...weird. But right now we are in the pre-druggie phase. I'm not quite done with the story, maybe a 'Trent'-like person will be the one who ends up steering her in that direction.)

Drake - "Couldn't help myself, I wanted to be your date," I winked

Trent: I shook my head. "I love Jillian. Still do. But she just didn't agree with what I did so she broke it off. 6 months, gone. I never pushed her to follow me. But I would ask every now and then." I shrugged and reached into my jacket pocket, pulling out a box of Marlboro. "Want one?" I asked as I pulled out my lighter.

Jillian: "Oh, your SO corny." I laughed.

Lena: "No." My lips formed a tight line and I crossed my arms over my chest. My parents smoked and I knew what it did to them. "But about Jillian. If you really love her than you shouldn't push her to do something like that. And she shouldn't ask you to change, either." Tara had way too much influence in what I said, I was beginning to realize.

Trent: I sighed and lit one, taking one drag before answering. "I never pushed her. I made sure she hadn't changed her mind. I'd never smoke around her, I've never tried to force her to, I've never hit her or anything she just said she was fed up."

Drake - "Always have been, always will be," I admit

Jillian: I laughed. "Mmmkay so. Corny, 17-year-old, mysterious guitarist, straight-A student Drake. Anything else I need to know about you?"

Lena:"Shit happens." I smirked. That sounded more like me and not Tara. I eyed the cigarettes for a moment. "On second thought, I'll take one."

Trent: I stared at her reproachfully. "You sure? Think about it for a minute."
1.) She wasn't old enough.
2.) She said me smoking weed freaked her out.

My reasons for cautioning her. "Its hard to stop once you start, hon."

Drake - "You'll find that out as you go," I tell her.

Jillian: "How about you just tell me right now instead of tryin to be all mysterious?" I said, looking at him through my eyelashes with a smile. He was tall! I felt to short compared to him.

Lena: I arched an eyebrow. Tara would stop here, she would say no and wouldn't smoke. But I was ready to break away from Tara's rules and be my own person. Besides, if I didn't like it I would stop. And I had heard somewhere that you could never get hooked by smoking just one. A voice in the back of my mind said Tara had told me that, too, but I ignored it. I nodded. "Yes, I'm sure."

Trent: I sighed and shrugged. "Mkay. Here." I handed her a cigarette and held out my lighter for her to take. Who was I to stop her? Maybe she would even join my group. "Dont start hacking, though. That freaking murders me. Not to sound mean, but suck it up. Literally. Just dontt swallow." I grinned.

Lena: "I know how to smoke, I've observed my parents." I lit the cigarette and took a puff, careful not to ingest it. The smoke didn't bother me, but it wasn't all that great either. I had second-hand smoked since forever, so I was use to it.

Trent: I made a small noise that sounded like a laugh. "Good. How do you take it?" I took another drag and held it in before letting it out, in a perfect smoke ring.

Lena: I shrugged. "I don't really mind it. Like I said, I've watched my parents smoke for years, and inhaled some of it from being around. So whatever shock affect people get from smoking I don't understand."

Trent: I turned towards her. "Do they smoke any weed?" Hmmm... I bet they could hook me and my friends up. Our providers starting to chicken out anyway.

Lena: "Not that I know of, but my dad does take a lot of trips. I never really thought about what all those mysterious packages he brought home were. He usually distracted me from those with little souvenirs." He had never shown me what else he bought on his trips, which was odd. Now I was curious. I'd have to check them out next time, or try to.

Trent: "Hm." I said, distracted. "Lemme know if they do." And, right then, my cell phone vibrated. "Hello?" I answered, seeing as the caller ID was my provider.

Lena: I took a few steps away, giving Trent space in case the call was private. Or in case he said something that I didn't want to be witness to. Like talk about drugs or murders or kidnappers. NO, just because he did drugs didn't mean he did all those other things Tara. She had become my freaking conscience or something.

Trent: "Crap, man what do you mean?" I asked, tensing up. "How can you be out?"
This was pure BS. I became conscious (sp) of Lena backing away, so I held up one finger, asking her to give me one minute.
