WHO'S READY TO PARTY?!?!?!?!?

Lena: I nodded and took another drag of the cigarette. I didn't even like smoking that much, but it didn't bother me. I shouldn't do it if I don't like it, and save myself the lung cancer. Damn it Tara, I don't need your opinion.

(In case this is confusing, things Tara has said to her keep popping into her brain when she's doing something bad. Well, when she'd doing anything really, but especially when she's doing something she shouldn't. So then she's kind of talking back to the memories and telling them to be quiet.)

Trent: I groaned and slapped the phone shut. "Well this sucks like the home of Satan." I grumbled, going to stand next to Lena. i noticed my cigarette had become a stub during my minor angry rage so i threw it on the ground and crushed it with my toe.

Lena: "What is it?" I asked calmly, hoping that he'd calm down, too. I threw my cigarette on the ground, too, done for now. You win this time, Tara.

Trent: If i had been any drunk-er I'd be stomping around in a rage. But i was beginning to sober up, so that was good. I grabbed a Corona someone had left unopened at the table- probably Jillian's- and took a sip before answering. "Our provider's out of weed. Which is impossible, since his cousin's practically got it growin' off trees. He's chickened out but isnt man enough to own up to it." I said angrily. Now where would we get some?

Lena:"Well maybe that's a sign that you should stop-" I cut myself off, thinking how that was just what Tara would say in this situation. "Uh, that's bull crap." I said lamely.

Trent: I snorted and lit another cigarette. "I can't. I'm too far in to stop now. I'm basically screwed."

Drake - "How bout I don't tell you and watch you try and figure it all out," I say teasingly.

Jillian: "Fine," I said with a roll of my eyes. "How old was your mom when she got you? Still have a dad? Any siblings you hate? What's your last name? Ever gotten drunk? Annnnnd I think that's it for now," I smiled and counted the questions off my finger.

Lena: "That's sad, aren't you upset that you're wasting-" I closed my eyes for a second and sighed. "I'm screwed too, we all are." Much less Tara-like.

Drake - I started laughing at her, "You want to know a lot, don't you?" I said between a laugh. "Well, my mom was 16, so she's really young. My dad left her when he found out she was pregnant. I am an only child, but I guess you could say that Marcy and I are like brother and sister, and no I don't hate her at all. My last name is Kane. I have gotten drunk at parties before. You're turn!"

Trent: "Hold up. What were you just gonna say?" I asked, confused as to why she kept changing tactics halfway through a sentence.

Jillian: "Youve gotten drunk?" my eyes widened. "Tsk tsk, little boy." I said, slapping his arm. "Im twenty-freaking two and I've never gotten drunk. What's it like?"

Drake - I laughed, "Great when you're drunk, horrible when you sober up," I tell her. "It took me three days to get completely over my hang over."

Jillian: "Ugh. Disgusting. I'll admit, I love to drink, but I know my tolerance level. Example-" I held up my glass of wine. "-Ive had four wines and a Corona and I feel perfectly fine. Not dizzy, not tipsy, nothing. However-" I took two more Coronas "-Id get pretty dizzy after drinking one of these, and I'd be all out drunk by the second. So I think I'm done today." I looked at the beer. "Eh. one more wouldnt kill me." And i popped the cap off with my teeth. "But its your fault if i get in trouble," i warned him, taking a sip.

Lena: "I was about to say aren't you sad that you're wasting your life."

Trent: I shrugged uncomfortably. "I know it's bad, legally and physically, but it's an escape route for me. I've fallen in love with it, I guess."

Drake - I watched her, "I'll keep you from doing anything if you end up drunk, but I can't stop the migraine after."

Lena: I shrugged. "Like I said: We're all screwed. And we all need an escape, though everyone finds one in a different way." Just work your philosophy in there, Tara, why don't you? She would say something like that, that we all needed an escape. Then go on to tell me what mine was, what hers was, what each of our friends was...

Jillian: I waved my hand carelessly as I took another sip. "I have pills for that." then, realizing what I said, I quickly corrected myself. "I mean, not druggie pills, I mean, Advil and Tylenol and pills like those." I said, laughing. I felt a shiver and realized shorts and a tank top weren't the warmest clothes. "Crap I'm cold..."

Trent: "Why are you so conflicted? One second you're about to say something and the next it's the opposite. Is your conscience bi polar or something?o I snorted and puffed out a smoke ring.

Drake - I laughed, "I didn't think that you meant drugs, not with how you talk," I tell her as I take off my jacket and hand it to her, "Here, I'm fine without it."

Lena: I laughed bitterly. "No, my conscience is just a completely separate person from my mind. Not in a metaphorical way, either. Like there are really two separate people in there. But I'm not bipolar." Just ADHD, not that I'd say that. And Tara would once again be proud I used a vocab word: metaphorical.

Jillian: "You sure?" I asked, but took it anyway. I slipped it over my shoulders and could just imagine my cherry blossom scent mixing with his. I laughed at the thought. "Sorry if you smell like a girl after this." I brought my legs in a cross-legged position and wondered what to ask next. I smiled deviously. "Ever gotten a girl prgnant?" HA that ought to make it awkward.

Trent: "That sucks." Uh. What'd she say?

Drake - I bit my lip. Not because I had gotten a girl pregnant but because I didn't know how she'd react if I told her the truth: I was a virgin. "No, I haven't, um, I'm kind of a virgin."

Lena:"Sorry, that was confusing. How to explain this..." I bit my lip in thought. "Well, my ex-best friend use to try and change me, make me this perfect version of myself. She gave me all this advice and everything, that was usually very philosophical, because she's that kind of person. But she was never able to change me...and this sounds stupid so I'm going to stop talking."
