Character Chats Are Fun

"Contact? Know nothing about it." Ezra shrugged. "And I'm not answering any questions."

"You'd better start." Frank glares at Ezra. "You are now under arrest on suspicion of several counts of murder. You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence."

"Murder? I haven't killed anyone."

"Yeah, whatever." Frank takes a step forward, followed by Noble. "So he cut his own head off... with a comb?"

"Comb? I swear....I don't know anything that your talking about."

"He was combing his hair, and the next thing we know, he's found dead in front of his mirror, still holding his comb. So you're telling me he slipped and cut his own head off with the comb?"

"I don't know...do we even know you?"

"I doubt as much. I take it you claim to be innocent of the murders of Donna Blakely and Tom Wildes?"
Frank stares at them from a moment. "So Donna undressed, then skinned herself and sent the skin and clothing to a lake one hundred and fifty miles away. is that what you're saying?"

"You want murders...go see Morgana's followers but we are not murders." said Ezra angerly.

"And we're meant to... What?" asks Noble. "Believe you?"
"No dice, half-pint," growls Frank. "I've always wanted to say that."

"Look we're in New Jersey there are castle ruins...how do you explain that? I told you the truth. By the way...how many of us do you see?

((New Jersey??? Crap. My characters operate on the Norfolk Broads.))

"There's two of you," points out Noble. "Unless there are others we can't see."
"Oh yeah," snorts Frank. "Like... ghosts, Sarah? I think we're onto a dead end."
"Keep a lid on it, Dylan. There are stranger things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Sarah smiles. "Hamlet."

"She's right. Not that I exactly favor him...but its what we do." Ezra shrugged.

"Wait, you mean there is someone else around?" Noble frowns. "If you're some kind of Skin-Teaser creature..."
"What are you smoking?" murmurs Frank.

"Nothing. His names Andrew. And NO he was NOT murdered. He died in 1912." Ezra said.

"Oh, wow," remarks Frank drily. "Casper the Friendly Ghost is hanging around. You have got to be on pot."
"Shut up," says Noble. "So you claim to have nothing whatsoever to do with the murders, and that you have this ghost guy? Prove it."

"Andrew can you-"

"No." Andrew snapped.

"Liz?"

"Andrew, could you please tap them on the shoulder?" said Liz.

"Fine." said Andrew unhappily.

*taps on shoulder*

"Who's And- ghhh..." Frank shudders. "I'd swear someone just walked over my grave."
"They're bloody tapdancing on it," murmurs Noble. "That's not proof, but it's a nice little trick. Now if either of you two raise anything even similar to a mirror, we're going to have to get nasty."

"Fine. You don't believe us? What can we do to prove it to you?"

"I don't know," admits Noble.
"But you'll have to do better than that!" growls Frank. "it was probably a freak breeze."

((Do any of your characters own anything particularly mirror-like or reflective? If they accidentally showed it, it would seriously spook Noble.))

(They will now)

"He's a ghost...we can hear, see, and touch him." said Ezra. He bent down to pick up a shard of glass, it looked like it had once been part of a mirror.

"What?" Noble glares at them, then sees the mirror. "NO! Break it! Cover it! get it away now!"
She hurls herself at Ezra, and is pulled up short by Frank.
"What's wrong with you?" he hisses.
"The... Mirror!"

"Whats your problem?! You accuse us of murder and then attack us?"

"Smash it! Break it! Cover it up!" shrieks Noble.
"Please, do as she says," groans Frank. "I can't hold her forever."
