Just the important stuff to help you get by), a high-powered flashlight, a few packs of batteries of various sizes (mostly double-A), waterproof gloves, a winter hat (the kind that covers your ears and has those tassels that hang down), a scarf, an umbrella (the compact, fold-up kind that veritably explodes out at the touch of a button), some granola bars, a roll of twine, a roll of fishing line, my black and white Nook (Nook > Kindle), the charger for said Nook, a notebook and some mechanical pencils, headphones, my iPod Touch, the charger for said iPod Touch, some extra hair elastics, and knitting needles of various sizes. The rest of the space is completely taken up by a variety of different yarns. You darn bet I came prepared. I've had several apocalypse plans for a while now. The knitting is mostly to pass the time, but I can make plenty of practical items. Finally, I carry around a tall stick. It's thick and a little on the heavier side for a walking stick, because I could also use it for some self-defense whacking.
Appearance: Kinda short, standing at 5'3''. Caucasian, with brown hair, eyes that change color depending on my clothes and surroundings, and a shiznit-load of freckles. The freckles are sprinkled mostly on the tops of my cheeks and across the bridge of my nose, but they're scattered all over my face, too. I also have them on my arms and hands, but not so much on my legs. My hair, which I wear in low pigtails that start at the base of my head, abruptly turns from brown to purple a little above my shoulders. The purple is fading a little, giving way to the decolorized, blonde hair underneath. I wear a plain t-shirt and gray sweatpants. Comfort over fasion. On my feet are a pair of running shoes.

Yes. I'm crazy prepared, a result of hypothetical planning. We in the marching band developed plans for all three kinds of apocalypses (these being [nuclear] warfare/radiation, zombies, and aliens) when our town's football team started winning a game.))

I am wandering around my weapons all over me, my best friend Riku next to me. I spot a building, "Lets check that out" I say pointing.
Riku: "Why?"
Conor: "Just a feeling" We run in and find you guys

My muscles tense slightly at the sight of the guns, but I'm careful to hide the reaction. "Afternoon, chaps," I say, with my voice only betraying the merest hint of the apprehension I feel.

Joseph: I let out a frustrated breath. "Sure,"I mutter, letting my voice display some of my patience wearing thin.

Aimery: I roll my eyes. "I asked first," I say brightly, taking a sip of the rest of my water before filling it up.

"Well," I say, smirking slightly in an irritating fashion. "This is a rather jolly little party, isn't it? And you two are...?"
I suddenly stop and turn to Aimery. "You said you use a different name wherever you go. Why?"

Aimery: I shrug. "I don't know. Maybe I get into things I don't want my real name to be associated with."

"Who's gonna track you? The government? Those losers couldn't track you before they all died. What makes you think they can now?"

Aimery: I smirk at him. "Oh, not the government. I don't even think they had their stuff together before the world ended." I shrug. "I'm talking about people I steal from, people who I've gained their trust and then taken everything they've got. Of course," I mumble, "I only take from those who can get more easily."

"Well," I reply evenly. "That's fair enough, I suppose. But if you ever take something of mine I'll hunt you down and skin you while you're still alive, then feast on your warm organs ."

Aimery: I laugh, shaking my head at him. "You don't have anything I need. And I' smarter than that."

"Okay, that's cool," I reply. "Apple?"

Aimery: I shake my head again, and then look at him. "How'd you find an apple?" There hadn't been fresh produce in a long time -- maybe someone had finally figured out a way to grow food.
