What Is Left After?

Roxanne: I wanted to tell him that wasn't what I was talking about, but I just let it go. I was puzzled though, and it probably shown on my face. Why would he trust me?

((I thought we were sitting/lying on one of the hotel lobby sofas?))

"I never will," I reply, my voice still deep and rough. "If by my life or death i can protect you," I murmur, hoping she gets the Lord of the Rings reference, "then so be it."
Very gently, I run my tongue along her jawline. To stop her slipping, I clasp both hands underneath her as a seat.

((Sorry, I should be going now. As I'm going back to school soon, I'll be spending less time online. But I'll still be here!))

Aimery: "Well, if I'm in the fantasy, of course it's a good idea," I say, smiling at the idea. "Now where did you see that water?"

Joseph: "Because you don't seem like you could hurt anyone, even if they were trying to hurt you," I clarify. "And in a good way."

(Oh I thought they were standing.)

Jelsa: I didn't understand the reference, but I smiled anyway. I was surprised when his touch on me shifted, but then I realized why and allowed it. I tightened my grip on him and inserted my tongue in his mouth again.

Wayne: "Just keep going straight. We're almost there."

((One last cheeky post! ))

I feel her grip tighten, and her tongue touch mine. I suddenly move my hands, and place them with infinite care on the sides of her face, barely touching her skin. I panic momentarily, as my hands are usually very sweaty.

Roxanne: I almost laughed dryly, but I stopped from doing so. Only part of that was right. I'd protect myself if need be. I had to before. "How'd you figure that?" I asked, actually curious.

Jelsa: "Are you trying to squish my cheeks? People like doing that because apparently, they're squishable."

Aimery: I sigh, kicking an abandoned can. "Straight is boring."

Joseph: I smile. "Because you didn't hit me when I put my arm around you."

Roxanne: I laughed lightly, "Ah...that's how." (g2g.)

Joseph: I shrug. "Well, people aren't at all that hard to read."

Roxanne: I relaxed slightly, and smiled, "For you, maybe, not me." Well, with people that I didn't know much about, at least.

Joseph: "That's not surprising. You aren't very..." I stop, wondering if the word "unobservant" would offend her.

Roxanne: I wondered why he stopped. I took a guess and assured him, "You don't need to worry about offending me. I'm sure I've heard worse than what you're about to say."

Joseph: "Unobservant," I finish. "I mean, not in a bad way..." I look down. "Not that it could be taken in a good way."

Roxanne: I put a hand under his chin to gently tilt his head up so he'd look at me, then I pulled away slightly with a smile, "See? I don't mind what you say, just as long as you're honest."

Joseph: I smile. "Sometimes it's good to lie."

Roxanne: I shrugged, but kept my smile, "Well, yeah, but those are usually little white lies."

Joseph: I roll my eyes at her. "Who told you that?"

Roxanne: I resisted the urge to gape at him. "Well, most of the lies I've told weren't major ones." (bye then.)

Wayne: I laughed. "Don't you want me to be straight, dear?"

Joseph: "I won't tell you the lies I've made, then," I say, smiling.

Aimery: I smile. "Actually, you can go ahead and curve. Curving is sexy, as long as you go straight again."

Roxanne: I fake-pouted, "You're no fun."

I frown slightly. "Er... No. That wasn't really my intention." Now that she mentions it, though, her cheeks are lovely and soft. I give them a very gentle squeeze. "You're such a cute little thing," I murmur. "But you must be harder than you look to still be alive."
