CHARACTER CHAT!!!!

Cricket didn't phase, just smiled sadly and shook his head. "You may think so, friend, but trust me. Used t' be like you, I did. You've got a lot of growing up t' do."

Sanae
"If you'd like." I stand from the stool, looking down at her apathetic before offering a hand. "You can stand by yourself, but you'd be in more pain without help. Emily patched you up the best she could."

Sparrow:
I groaned. "Yeah. I'm familiar with her handywork." And boy do I remember how that ached. I took her hand and let her pull me to my feet. I was an unplesant experiance and I was light headed, but I brushed it off.
Get up.
Dust yourself off.
Keep walking.
It's what I do.
"Lets go find the others."

Sanae
I nod with a small smile. "Does that mean Milo then?" There are mixed reactions about what he's doing right now with Sarah. I close my sight from the futures, hoping for a surprise. For someone who can see the available futures, surprises come rarely...

"Your choice." Milo says to Ami. Let her make her own decision for once he thought before sitting down on the pew. "Go ahead." he tells Sarah leaning forward and resting his hands in his lap.

SORRY! XP One is Senet and one is Sanae and I get them mixed up. Senet is a boy right? I feel like I called him a girl once.

Sparrow:
I gave Sanae a side glance. "Yes. Do you know where he is?" I restrained the instint to distrust strangers. Especially strangers who think they know me.

BRAWNE

Brawne measured himself next to Cricket, the top of his head reached Crickets nose. "Ah, not that much more." He said with a wink and the cockiness only a child can achieve.

Ami
I hesitantly step in, taking a seat on the floor by the door as Sarah closes her eyes and starts leafing through his memories.

Sanae
"Yes," i say, leading her that way. Sarah's so wrapped up in Milo's memories she doesn't really take notice of us.

Cricket pushed Brawne back by the forehead and said in all seriousness, "Word of th' wise. There's one thing you should know about Crooks and that is 'e doesn't give a damn about anything or anyone. Stick by 'im and 'e'll 'ave you dead soon enough."

"Thanks for the advice friend, but if I didn't know that much by now I wouldn't deserve the name of street-rat, now would I?" Brawne smiled slightly, a sad look in his eyes.

Sparrow:
I followed the her, too wrapped up in my own selfish thoughts to notice where we were going, until we were there. Soon enough I found myself standing in front of an ornately decorated door. Sanae opened it quietly and slipped in, I followed her example, taking care to close the door slowly as not to make excess noice.
Where the hell were we? Sunday school?

The trap slams down on the boys leg, and blood gushes everywhere instantly. I feel Sarah flinch in surprise next to me but I keep pushing forward. The soldiers who had been searching for us turn our way, their flashlights floating towards the sound of the teenage boy's screams. I slid over to him, muscles straining as I try to pry the steel teeth off his leg. Finch is pulling at my sleeve, "MI-!" suddenly a spray of fire hits the green we were hiding in. I dive to the ground and cover Finch's head with my arms. When fire ceases Cove, the boy I had been trying to save lies dead. A bullet lodged in his neck was what did him in. Dammit! I pull my gun from the holster slung across my chest and wave my rag-tag team forward.

Sparrow:
There was an explosion and I could swear the floor rumbled. Or maybe my feet are vibrating? Pins and needles? I couldn't tell the difference.
I noted Ami sitting on the floor by herself, and beyond her, Milo sitting next to... Sarah, I think? Fuck it, the all look the same to me.
I soft-shoed over and sat a few seats behind Milo, unsure if he would be mad that I was here.

Sarah wouldn't really flinch. She's seen Ami's memories after all.

Sarah
I take a calming breath, letting all of the memories come to me. My eyebrows knit together and I open my eyes, Sparrow and Sanae suddenly in the room. Ami was looking /very/ uncomfortable with Sanae right next to her though she did not look at her. Her eyes were on Milo and Sparrow, simply observing in that way that creeps /me/ out.

Sparrow:
I could feel eyes on me, though whose, I could not decide. Whatever. Let 'em look. I have nothing to hide.
I watched Milo's facial expressions from my side angle. It was the best I could get. Though not that it mattered. His features were a vault, unchanging and unreadable. I sighed as my brow knitted, wishing I knew what was going through his mind.

FIXTED IT!

sarah's just reading his mind right now too. She's not casting any illusions. And even if she did, you can't just walk into it. she has to sort of 'link' with your mind to throw you into an illusion

We push ahead in the opposite direction, followed by the constant cries of "There! There, fuck you, shoot those damn rebels!" Our knowledge of the land gives us the advantage as we sprint over familiar ditches trees and vines. Ahead lays the ancient building we had been heading to, hardly visible through all that nature had reclaimed. We were almost there when a stray bullet shoots ahead of me and slams into Finch "No." I shove Sarah roughly out of my mind.

Sarah
I gasp, withdrawing my connection with him immediately. If i wasn't sitting I would have fell. I clutch at my head, leaning over so my head was between my knees. "Damn it, Milo. I said no mental punches," i mutter, wincing at the sound.
Ami stands and puts a hand on my back. "Sarah?"
"I'm fine," i say, waving her head away, trying to breathe deeply and evenly.

Sparrow:
I stood up in alarm, "What happened?" I asked out of impulse, then remembered no one really knew I was here, and sat back down. Oops.

"Sorry." Milo says stiffly getting up to leave.

Sarah
I roll my eyes. "Don't leave. You still want to show everyone, don't try lying to yourself." I sit up again and sigh, looking to him expectantly. "We continuing?"
