Dakota: "What do you mean?"

Brok: "Why do you date me? It's not because I'm a drummer for a famous band, right? So what is it?"

Dakota: "Because I like you, obviously. You're funny, and nice, and just as weird as I am. And the music factors in, but not because you're famous, just because we both love music so .. it's something we have in common."

Brok: I laughed. "I still can't believe you like my weirdness. Most people can't deal with it." I shrugged. "Then again, it can be creepy. Me, I mean."

Dakota: "I /adore/ your weirdness!" I laughed. "But why did you ask, anyway? Why'd you ask what i liked most about this relationship?"

Brok: I sighed. "Just making sure it wasn't, you know, the physical part of it. That's what a lot of people want nowadays."

Dakota: I shook my head. "No, but...I mean, the physical part is usually part of every relationship...just saying."

Brok: "I know. I just wanted to make sure that wasn't the main reason you liked me, you know?" I frowned. "What about Sam? Why did you date him?"

(IDIOT x_x but at least we have drama again)

Dakota: My eyes widened slightly. "Well...not for the same reasons I dated you, that's for sure."

(MMHMM x_x)

Brok: "I'm a bit curious," I said. "Why did you date?"

Dakota: "If we talk about my ex, then we have to talk about yours." I raised an eyebrow at him, since Fiona was always a subject he seemed to avoid.

Brok: I shrugged. "It's probably better if we did. You know, so we're not wondering."

Dakota: "Fine." I rocked back and forth on my heels. "Wellllllllll I kind of, er, well...dated him more for...the physical part." And there was a little more that would be weird to talk about, ...

(do you care if I make up the Dakota and Sam story? Or are there certain things that would be OOC for Sam...?)

Brok: "Mmhm?" I said.

(go ahead and decide. i don't know that much about sam.)

Dakota; "And well, um, hmm... I uh...I'll just skip the middle," Losing my v-card "And go to the end, where we broke up because all he wanted to do was make out, most of the time. Sometimes he'd make me spaghetti...but usually make out."

Brok: "Oh," I said, frowning. "I see. I can see that. I saw the way he kept looking at you."

Dakota: "Mmhmm," I said uncomfortably. "Well, that's just how Sam is, I guess. He was useful enough for...well, nevermind. Now I get to hear about Fiona."

Brok: "Alright. What do you want to know about her?"

Dakota: "Everything. Why did you date her? Why did you break up?"

Brok: "We're childhood friends. Kent is really good friends with his mother, so we became really close friends and we decided to date one day." Hm. The break up part was complicated. "She broke up with me. I'm not really sure why." We were supposed to do it, though. But we didn't because I was at a strawberry eating contest.

Dakota: "Is that all? What about the middle of the relationship? How was that?"

(bwaha why does that merit a happy face?)

Brok: I shrugged. "It was weird. She was my best friend. It's weird to date your best friend."

(the last part about the strawberry-eating-contest preventing them from "doing it" made me laugh for some reason)

Dakota: "Oh. My best friend is a girl, so... I wouldn't know." I shrugged.

(Dana! I like Dana so far. Did you ever figure out Brea's full name?)

Brok: I laughed. "Yeah. Well, Ryan's my guy best friend, but I hung out with Fiona a lot. We don't really talk anymore, though."

Dakota: "That's good - wait, that came out wrong...I mean, it sucks that you lost her as your friend, but..." I was just glad he wasn't talking to his ex. Kinda hypocritical, though with Sam it was more /him/ talking to /me/.
