Mentor: That is, if you are/were a sidekick

Rules/Clarifications:
- Your characters can either be existing charries, such as Robin, KF, etc - or your own.
- In both cases, YOUR MENTOR MUST EXIST IN THE COMIC WORLD - that means DC or Marvel! (if your character has one)
- Please know your character if you want to impersonate them. Their personality and lives to this point basically.
- You can play older heroes as well, like with Ende and Green Arrow and me with Batman, though they will probably be used less then the younger ones.

i have no idea... Speedy, Penny, and Rae are training.

I think Rae attempted to draw the attention of GL, beating on a training dummy...

(Right!)
GL:
"Hey Rae" I say as she walks over.

Rae
"Hey there." I lean against the wall, observing him silently.

GL:
I smile at her and stop pounding the dummy and ask, "You wanna do some training?"

Rae
I shrug with a playful smile. "You up to it, GL? I'm not so easy."

GL:
I snicker and say, "I already had the snot beaten out of me by Spades, I think I'm ready to get beaten by another girl if I need to" I take a stance fists gaurding my face.

Rae
I roll my eyes. "Yeah. You're talking to the one who knocked Speedy out." I disappear into the shadows, grabbing a hold of his so it's impossible for him to move.

GL:
"Hey! No fair!" I call, "I thought this was no powers, I don't even have my ring!"

Rae
I chuckle. "Not fair? You're up against some crazy villains who won't hesitate from that." But i let him go anyways, popping up behind him and flicking his head before going back to my original place a few yards away. "The most I can say is get used to it."

GL:
"Good point," I say and put my ring back on, "Shall we?"

Rae
I smirk and stand ready. "We shall."

GL:
I raise myself into a green sphere and try to illuminate the room as much as possible with a green glow top cancel out the shadows and her power.

Rae
"Now, what's that going to do for you?" I chuckle, crossing my arms. "There's one shadow you can't getting rid of." I retreat into my own with a smile.

GL:
"Crap" I mutter I need to think how I could get rid of her shadow. I could take us to Apocalypse's dimension, but I would need a boom tube. There was the negative zone as well but I only knew that spell that Kilowogg had forced me to learn and it would wipe out my energy. Besides we might meet Zod while in there.

Rae
Can't easily fight me without actually touching me. How are you getting around this one, GL? I wait in the little shadows of the room.

GL:
Screw it I think to myself and start chanting. Soon I have finished the spell and I have dragged myslef and Rae into the negative zone, where there are no shadows and there is no light or darkness. I am utterly exhausted and I don't have the will to use my ring so I stand and raise my fists shakily.

Rae
I blink and look around. "Huh." I have to say that was pretty cool. It sort of feels like being in the shadows. I smile to him, taking a fighting stance as well. "Seems like you get your wish of hand to hand."

GL:
I nod too weak to speak I hope since there isn't gravity in the sense that we know in here either I'll be able to dodge her attacks until I get my strength back. I turn and leap twenty feet in the air and soar away.

Rae
I simply wait. If there was one thing I had learned from Speedy is to not deal the first punch. He had way too many come backs. "Running? Come on, make it a challenge!"

GL:
I snicker to myself knowing enough to not get drawn in by a taunt. I land and sit on the ground looking at Rae. "Whenever you're ready"

Rae
I give a small smile, testing out the non gravity a moment, learning as I go. I run forward, lashing out with a kick.

GL:
I throw up my arms to cover my face and the kick takes me in the chest, I'm sure I got some bruised ribs from that. I stood up refreshed and I lashed out and punched at her.

Rae
I catch his punch, throwing him over my shoulder and to the ground. "Too direct, doll. Surprise me." I smirk, holding him down on the floor.
