"Just saying. You said you wanted to come to some more, after all." i smile and kiss her forehead. "Meet you in the garage," i say before going back to my room to change.

Spades
"I know, they're actually kind of fun in their own... twisted way" I told him as he left, his kiss leaving a smile on my face as I went to my room to change also.

Robin
In suit and dress shirt, I go to the garage and wait by a car, my hands lax in my pockets.

Spades
I slip into a short, red dress, with practical black shoes. Something I can run in. Then I went out to meet Robin in the garage "Who else is coming?" I asked, tucking a lock of hair behind my ear

Robin
"Bruce will be at the party. No one else though. It's more of a higher end party." I open the door for her with a smile, going to the driver's side.

Spades
"So no mysterious bodyguards?" I laughed, sliding into the passenger's seat and closing the door

I smiled "True, true. Though it's going to be a little hard to explain why your date suddenly knows how to fight with supervillains"

"Eh, outfits are in the back as always if things get bad." I take her hand and walk up with her.
"Master Grayson, Miss Green. Nice to see you here," Alfred greets out front. "Master Wayne is inside, being unusually sociable."
I chuckle. "Who is this for again?"
"I believe Mr. Daniel Bay, new partner of Wayne Enterprises."

Spades
My hand tightened around his automatically, though it was still odd to be so /open/ about it. The name didn't ring a bell, though the whole thing was making me uneasy. I made a mental note to tell that to Robin later, since he said I should follow my intuition more.

Robin
I glance over at Spades a moment. "Thanks Alfred."
"Of course, Master Grayson," he says in his usual manner. "I'll keep track of your car, of course."
I give a smile and nod, entering the fancy place with Spades. "Something wrong?" I ask her, looking back at her concerned. I saw Bruce with a man, who I assumed to be Mr. Bay. Brown hair slicked back, looking very proper in his full suit.
By him is a girl about our age, light brown hair falling in layers around her face, freckles lightly dotting her face as she stands looking very bored in a pearl colored dress. Too young to be his date, certainly. A daughter, maybe?

I tensed, studying the girl. Then I shook my head slightly, even though the feeling was still nagging at me. Is one boring party really too much to ask for?!

Robin
"You sure?". I ask, squeezing her hand gently.
The girl looks over a moment, back at mr. Bay when he talks to her. She smiles to bruce. He says something before looking around, gesturing for us to come over.

I looked up at him, my eyes revealing my uncertainty "Just a bit of... conflicting intuition" I whispered back, before looking over at the girl who wanted us to go over to her. "I have a bad feeling about all of this..."

Robin
I look back at her and give a small smile. "it'll be fine. You've got my back, I've got yours, right?". Mr. Bay looks over at us at bruce's gesture with a smirk. The girl looks over, staying by mr. Bay.

Ooops, tired when I read that, read it wrong. Hehe. Heh. I'll just blame it on the knee injury... I can do that, right?

Spades
I nodded slightly, returning his small smile "Always"

Robin
"always," I confirm. Hesitantly, I lead her over in case she backed down again. An interesting thought though, ace of spades hesitant of a fight. Bruce sees it too, the look in his eyes changing slightly as he looks back at mr. Bay.
"Daniel. I'd like to introduce Richard, and his date Elizabeth Green," Bruce introduces us.
He studies us a moment, his smirk fading a bit before growing again. "nice to meet the two of you. This is my daughter, Sirena Bay." he turns and takes a step back, the girl looking us over. There's some sort of hearing aide in his ear. Hers too, I notice, as she gives us a small smile.

I forced a small smile in return
"Nice to meet you, Sirena" I said pleasantly, holding out my hand. But I was still getting what one would call... negative vibes? That sounded overly mystical for my taste. I was getting a bad feeling from her

Robin
She returns the smile and takes Beth's hand. "And it's nice to meet you too, Elizabeth." Her voice is musical, light and airy.
Someone approaches Mr. Bay, tells him something, and goes off after a nod. "Ah, well. Reporters and such. Excuse us." He walks off with Bruce.
"Always needing the partner. Father's never been one to be in the limelight," Sirena says absent mindedly, watching the two of them go.

erm....random thought....

maybe Sirena and father involved with Zucco twins? which would involve BM, since she's hired power by then. To get close to Rich or something...
