What Is Left After?

"I always believe in making a good first impression. I have one request before I take you to the others. Hold you hands out like this. I got it off The Book of Eli."
I hold my free hand out straight in front of me.

((Basically, eating human flesh gives you the shakes, so I'm trying to see how much 'your' hands shake.))

"Ah, The Book of Eli!" I said, holding out my hands. "Look, no shakin' here. I can quite accurately say that I've never consumed human flesh, an' that I don't intend to."

"I am very glad to hear that," I reply. "If you would care to walk this way?"
I lead her into the hotel, and walk up to the door of the room I was sharing with Jelsa. I rap my knuckles on the door a couple of times, then open it a little way, just far enough to stick my head around.
"We have company," I say. "You might want to throw some clothes on."

Roxanne: I grinned mischievously, and said a bit randomly, "I'm not going to say what I'm thinking now."

Someone had to throw some clothes on? ...I didn't really know how to respond to that. I mean, sure, it could be innocent, but...ah...
"Er, I hope I'm not interruptin' anything," I said.

"Well..." I begin. "Yes. You are. There's no point beating about the bush, is there? No pun intended."

(Sorry! I haven't been home all week :/)

Jelsa: I sighed and leaned back against the pillows, still really tired.

(whoops I didn't read all the way.)

Jelsa: "Give me a moment."

Wayne: I smirked. "Will your bites hurt?"

"That's okay," I reply, then close the door and turn to Susan. "My associate will be along shortly."

Jelsa: I got my clothes on and walked over to Peter. "What's going on?"

"We have company," I explain. "Susan, this is Jelsa. We get along quite well. Jelsa, this is Susan. Susan doesn't eat human flesh."

Jelsa: I smiled nervously; I wasn't good around female strangers. "Hi," I said.

Susan
"Hello," I greeted shyly, awkwardly offering my hand.

Jelsa: "I see you've met Peter..."

Susan
"Er, yeah," I said, replacing my hand to my side when she didn't take it. "Ran into 'im in th' street. Well, he ran inta me, I guess."

Jelsa: "Oh," I said. I leaned into him possessively. "I see."

Susan
"O-oh!" I stammered. "Ya d-don't have ta worry about me er anythin'! I'd never, ya know--I mean I'm not...! I'm asexual! An' I just met the guy!"

Jelsa: I frowned. "Oh. Okay," I said.

Wayne: I laughed. "Should that mean something scary?"

(Shouldn't they be in the hotel by now?)

Aimery: "Only if that's scary to you."

(I think they are.)

Wayne: "And if it's not?"

Aimery: I tug him closer. "Then you have no self preservation. I think that's sexy."

Wayne: I laughed. "Schmexy."
