Brook: "Don't count on it," I called back, and opened up my locker, making a point of slamming it shut when I was done. With my books in hand, I stalked down the halls.
Will you at least try to make friends here? My mom's question from that morning popped into my mind.
I tried to shake it out. Yeah, so far, that's not going to happen, I silently replied.

Alison: I walked around feeling alone. Finally I could breath again

Shelby: "We weren't nowhere" I said, slamming my locker and walking off to find a quiet place to rest.

(Shelby's not a dummy.)

Derek: "Ouch." I followed her "I'm confused. We were just flirting...?" And now she was pissed off?

Alison: I sat by a tree and took a deep breath. Great first day at school. I thought sarcasticly. I hate this I wanted to shout and scream.

Shelby: I turned and looked at him, "you mean, I was watching you flirt with the new chick, right?" I started back on my prowl.

Derek: "Hey, I was just messing with her. You're /much/ prettier than she is."

Alison: I saw my mother's fiance watching me. No you are dead!

Shelby: "Like I haven't heard that one before" I said, without turning around.

( *Chants* FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!)

Derek: "Well, you were the only one I was thinking of asking out."

Shelby: I stopped, "and how many girls have you told that to this week?" I raised an eyebrow.

Derek: "Just one." I smiled. It would be more, but it was Monday. Plus, I'd lie to her about the number if it was higher, anyway.

Alison: I tried not to freak. He could have not come back. Come on it just doesnt happen but there he was.

Shelby: "Oh yeah, I forgot, its Monday, how many are you planning to ask out this week?" he wouldn't get off the hook that easy.

Brook: Oh crap, I realized, looking around. I had no idea where any of my classes were. I glanced down at my schedule, and then at a random door. Well, this ought to be fun.

Derek: My smile widened. "Still, just one."

Shelby: I licked my lips, looking up at him, his smile showing perfectly, natural, not evil. "Fine, but no slick moves" I said, turning and walking away from him.

Derek: I stayed in step with her, and wrapped an arm around her waist. I smirked. "Is this considered slick?"

Shelby: "No, but if you get any closer, I'm gonna knock your arm off."

Derek: "Feisty, I like it." I chuckled. "You free Friday?"

Alison: I stood up I had to get away. I walked as fast as I could but I ran into a couple on accident. "Sorry." I said quietly

Shelby: I grabbed at his shirt and pulled him closer to me, "yeah, I'm free."

Derek: I smirked. "I thought you didn't want me to get any closer?"

Shelby: "You only get closer, when I make you come closer" I said, no doubt I'm feisty. I didn't see the girl when she ran into us.
