Brook: "That's none of your buisness," I snapped, a bit too quickly. No way would I tell anyone what school I had been from. What if they had heard about what had happened and put two and two together. Yeah, pass.

Jack: I frowned, my face going a little pink. I didn't realize that was a personal question. I stared at my shoes as we walked. "Sorry, I-I didn't mean to...uhm, I...."

Alison: I looked around and took a breath. My secret was litterally killing me. I hate this I thought.

Brook: Nice job, Brook. Now he's going to suspect something. I shook my head and waved my hand dismissively. "Whatever, just forget it," I said. "Let's just move on."

Jack: I nodded. Now there was kind of awkwardness. Oh well, I'd fix it. "Do you play a sport?"

Alison: I took a deep breath and held it for a second. I looked around I need to get my mind off of this.

Brook: I stiffled a laugh. "Yeah, no. Sports include getting along with people, which I am not good at," I explained, shrugging. "How about you? Do you play any sports?"

Jack: "Football and lacrosse. So then what are you into, if you don't do sports?" I asked, running a hand through my brown hair.

Brook: I tilted my head up and thought for a second. "Besides pissing people off?" I laughed lightly. "Well, I guess I like to cook, and if surfing the Internet counts, I like to do that too."

Alison: I walked along the hallways trying to stop worrying so much about other people.

Jack: "That's...cool. Most people like to do that stuff, so you'll have lots in common with the others. Maybe that'll help with the friend situation?"

Alison: I saw a guy and a girl and tried not to seem desprate with not having any friends. My stupid skirt was too short for my long legs and I got stares from guys.

Brook: I shrugged. "I guess, maybe."
But probably not, I added in my head. I'm not good with people. They tend to do things that bug me and then I end up biting their heads off. I was just lucky to end up with a friend like Chance.
Speaking of which, my phone had been buzzing with another text from her. I managed to get my phone out again without dropping my books and checked the text. Hope ur day gets better! Good luck @ the new school!
