Alison: I looked sheepish.

Derek: I chuckled. "So /I/ have to wait for /you/ to make all the moves? Isn't that a bit backwards? And besides, I'm not that patient, babe."

Alison: I froze. Wow this guy is a major creep.

Shelby: "Yes, babe, its exactly like that. If you wanna get anywhere with me in this short-lived thing you call a relationship" I raised my eyebrows.

Derek: A relationship? I hadn't had one of those in years. What I'd have with her? That's what you call a fling. But if she wasn't going to give me any action...I shrugged and stepped away. "Nevermind, forget about Friday."

Alison: I coughed. (lol i look alone hahaha )

Shelby: "I already did" I said, turning to look at the girl, "its not your fault, he attracts ladies like cookies attract children."

Alison: "Um I wasnt here for him... I actually think he is..." I looked at the guy. "Kind of a player."

Shelby: I glanced at Derek, "you bet he is" I said, wiggling my eyebrows.

Derek: I shrugged and walked off.

Alison: "I...I.. Im sorry I did that.." I studderd

Shelby: "Thats alright, I'm Shelby by the way" I said, sticking out my hand towards her.

Alison: I took it. "I am Alison." I said sheepishly.

Shelby: "Nice to meet you, Alison, I think you've just learned your first lesson, stay away from players like Derek" I rolled my eyes.

Jack: I wandered the halls. I was supposed to find any new students and take them on a tour. Part of my duty as part of the Welcoming Committee.

Brook: My phone buzzed against my hip. I attempted to balance my books on one arm while I reached for it, but that didn't go so well and ended up with my books all over the floor. "Great," I muttered, and glanced at my phone to find a text from my best friend, Chance. How's the new school? it read.
Sukz. Sum creep hit on me earlier, I cant find my classed, & now u made me drop my bookz. I hit send and bent down to gather up my stuff.

Shelby: I noticed that boy, "hey, you're Jack, new student right here" I motioned toward Alison. "I'll see you around" I told her and walked off.

Alison: I smlied and again I was alone.

Jack: I saw a girl that I didn't recognize drop her books. She must be new, she had one of those office-issued-school-maps. I knelt down and grabbed a few of the books, handing them to her. "Here. Are you new? I'm Jack."

Brook: I took it from him and attempted a smile. "Thanks. I'm Brook, and yeah, I'm new."
There, I'm being nice. Mom'll be happy, I thought to myself, resisting to roll my eyes. I picked up the rest of my books and stood up.
"You here to show me around?"

Jack: "Yup, what's your first class? Brook is a nice name, by the way." Compliments helped people feel comfortable. I offered a smile.

(*High-fives back* Yep, I'm Agent_Chip on there).
Brook: I checked my schedule, this time balancing my books so they wouldn't fall. "Um... English," I said. "And thanks, by the way." I smiled at him again. At least not all of the guys in this school were creeps. I could live with that.

(OH! I think I've seen you around a little bit)

Jack: "No problem. And that's just down the hall and to the left...follow me." I shoved my hands in my pockets and turned in the right direction. "So where did you move from?"

(Probably, although I tend to lurk a lot... XP)
Brook: I didn't say anything for a couple of seconds, the wheels in my brain turning. Maybe I should just lie and say I had moved here. No, that's a stupid idea. "I didn't move from anywhere," I finally said. "I just moved schools."
Please don't ask why, I silently pleaded. The last thing I needed was for that to get around the school.

Jack: "Oh. What school did you move from?" I asked.
