I sat on the ground, clamping my hands to my ears and closing my eyes tightly.
"Shut. Your face," I said to Evan, a chilling deadness to my voice. "Do not make me do horrible, horrible things to you, mortal."

"Demon you are an abomination so you should be the one shutting up. Also, it would hurt Stella and I the worst because we have super sensitive werewolf hearing! We can just deal with it!"

"You shut the Hell up!" I snapped, irritated. "And who are you calling abomination?! You're the abomination, you insufferable bastard! And who the Hell are you to say if your hearing is more sensitive than mine?! See these markings on my face?" I pointed. "I know you can see them, because, unfortunately for the rest of the world, you're immortal. Look at them! They augment my sight, smell, and, oh yeah, hearing. My hearing was already far better than most mortal creatures simply because I'm a demon, but these markings make my hearing far better than that of other demons. So I have super-sensitive hearing, too! You know, you really piss me off, Puppy-dog. I can not even begin to tell you how much I want to run you through with a sword, twist that sword around, yank it out, proceed to disembowel you, and then strangle you with your own intestinal tract. That is how much you piss me off."

Dan:
I smile and say, "Stella, would you do the honors"

Stella:
"Gladly" I then change into a werewolf form. I plunge my right hand into his stomach and yank out his intestines. I then proceed to strangle him with his own entrails.

Dan:
I stand up and say, "I can see your markings and think of it this way, take all the enhanced senses you have and muliply that by a factor of twenty, then combine that with the senses and abilities of Superman, then you may come close to mine. Stella's senses are lower than mine since she is just a werewolf, but I was genetically enhanced in Area 52 as well. If I focus hard enough I can see the individual skin cells on a humans body" I say, "It is not pleasant having such jumped up senses"

"Well aren't you just a super-special opossum?" I asked icily. "God Mode Sue, that's what you are. You're a freaking God Mode Sue that needs to gee-tee-eff-oh! You've no place in this world, and you're an asshole to boot! And you still seem to be too chicken to even try to hit me with some holy water."

(I think Im done with these types of chats, because you see theres too much conflict because one person plays a character and another is annoyed by it even though they will find if they read your book that it is in your book, it is called character chats with *YOUR* characters)

*happes to accidentally overread* Well, condog...it is a character developement site. *shrugs* People will judge your book in the real writing world, and people will judge it here. That's what helps us improve, even if sometimes it stings. Just sayin Smile

((Okay, no. The problem here is that this whole thing is just too unbalanced. Yeah, it's your character from your book, and this is the *Your* section. But it's just really frustrating to have to deal with a completely limitless character. You say, "Well he's a god, he can do that," as we (or at least I) bring about the death of small animals because we (or at least I) are (am) just so. Damn. Frustrated. The problem here isn't that Dan is a god. I mean, look at Neptuna! She's a goddess, and she's not being intolerable. The problem here is that Dan is a Mary Sue. Or Marty Stu. Whatever.

Okay, that's not the only problem. The other issue I have is the powerplaying. I went to decent lengths to explain what powerplaying is, which you blatantly ignored. If the god-moding wasn't annoying, the powerplaying was head-wall-bangingly ARGH. Yes, "ARGH" is a noun now. The powerplaying is what I was saying you couldn't do.))

(Yes you think Neptuna is not intollerable because she doesn't attack you, I think she is intollerable because of what she does to me, but im not whining like this)

((I wouldn't find her intolerable even if she did try to attack me. Because she's not a Mary Sue. And I am not whining; I'm simply expressing my frustration about all the powerplay that's happened. I began nicely, but I found as it persisted that saying it nicely just wasn't working.

I would find Dan far less of a pain if the pp stopped. That's all I'm saying.))

Okay. *stands* There's a problem here. See this general area? *gestures to white void we know of as a chat* This is a chat. It works at its best when the characters are interactive, balanced in power over each other, and yes, varied in character to make a big, beautiful picture of conflict, drama, laughter, and constructive writing practice for all writers involved. Some characters are not fit for chatting. They might just be too powerful for any other characters to take the spotlight once in a while, they might not be interactive enough, or they might just be too boring (in unfortunate cases) to move the plot along. Now, when characters do not fit a chat, there are two things a writer can do. One can alter the character to fit the chat (and this is sometimes painful but often times very helpful when it comes to fleshing out a charrie, in my experience) or one can simply say "no, I'm not willing to change this charrie," which means they just shouldn't be chatted with. I have several characters I've had to do both with. In my humble opinion it's a bit selfish to chat with a character that doesn't fit easily into a chat, because it takes the fun and constuction out of other writers' chatting experiences. Thank you. *sits down*

((Jacky: Thank you! I couldn't have put it better myself.

Condog: They're not my rules; they're universal, accepted-for years roleplaying (or character chatting--it's the same thing) etiquette.

Despite your less-than-kind statement, I thank you for understanding and stopping your actions.))
