C. D. - character development

"Wonderful," said Andrew, rolling his blue eyes.

David:
I nod.

Kiera:
I open my mouth to have Ezra pour in the potion. I couldn't do it myself.

David:
"TEKLEMEKKAN!" I yell and earth surges up and covers my stomach before I get stabbed. I look at the air ship and smile. I mutter the power word for fire and the flames start licking at the hull of the ship. I walk over to Kiera and look at Ventrix, "Don't even think for a second this makes us even!" I growl.

"Absolutely," hisses Ventrix. "We will be even when you provide for the widows and orphans of the men and women you killed. When you visit every single one of the bereaved and till their fields and tend their herds, we will be even."
He spits on the ground. "Murderer. Coward. You use your magic to protect you because you have neither the guts to face up to what you've done, or the moral fibre to fight like a man, instead of the crawling, slithering worm you are."

David:
I laugh and say, "The only reason you can't do magic is because you are weak" I say. "Those men," I say pointing at the corpses, "deserved to die! Kiera is a dragon, where I come from their families would have been put to death as well to rid the scourge of there blood from the land"

Ezra poured in the potion, watching Kiera shrink till she was just big enough for his pocket. He scooped her up and placed her there gently, "No scorching."

Leslie
"Oooo-kay...!" I said awkwardly. "Well. I've caught wind of Andrew's scent. Easy part done! Now to find him."

"Bet he smells bad," smirked Ezra, which Liz smacked him on his arm.

Leslie
"Nope," I answered. "Just like any average mortal soul. By the way, now that we're inside here, we have to be careful to act like angels. Give them no reason to suspect us."

"Oh I'll be a perfect angel," smirked Ezra.

David:
"Yeah, I don't think so" I say holding out my hand. "I'll hang on to Kiera".

Leslie
"Come, come, children!" I announced, clapping my hands twice. "This way!"
I started leading them through the slums of Heaven.

David:
After pocketing Kiera I follow Leslie quickly.

Leslie
To say that Heaven looked run-down would be one of the biggest understatements of the century. I would know, because I've been alive for over five of them. The houses--no, shacks--were old and falling apart, their decrepit faces screaming for repairs and new paint jobs. The streets were filthy, with random trash rolling about listlessly in the breeze. There didn't seem to be anyone out at this hour (or perhaps they were all down in the Middle World).
"So, whaddaya think of Heaven?" I asked with a smirk. "Not what you thought it would be, is it?"

"No it's not." said Ezra surprised.

(Ezra already pocketed Kiera.)

(David pickpocketed him lol)
David:
I stare around in awe. "No," I whisper, I don't know why I was whispering but everything was so quiet it felt appropriate, "no I didn't. Why is it like this?"

"I don't know," said Liz, too surprised and shocked.

David:
"Well, my question was more directed at Leslie, her being a demon and all" I say shrugging.

Kiera:
I pull myself from David's pocket. I stick my head out and look around. "D***!" I say in a squeaky high pitched voice.

Ezra laughed, "Hahaha that's funnier than Evan."

Evan glared at Ezra, "Not funny...not funny at all."

Leslie
"Heaven was a thriving, prosperous place while Archangel Michael was in power," I explained. "But when he went the Middle World and never returned, his son took the throne. And, well, pardon my French, but he was a shitty king. This was a couple of centuries ago, mind you. Anyway, Heaven went into decline, resulting in all you see here. And it's still declining!"

"Whose in charge now?" asked Ezra.

David:
"So are you saying all religion is a lie?" I ask.

(Just so you know there is a whole different religion in Palamon I'm just posting what I think would make it more interesting. And WD do you actually believe that Heaven isn't real like are you an Atheist or did you just right the story cuz you thought it was interesting?)

((I thought it would be interesting. I'm agnostic, though.))

Leslie
"Yup!" I told him. "Written by mortals who just didn't get it."

David:
"It doesn't matter to me" I say shrugging, "I've been an Atheist for a while, with all the crap that has happened to me I didn't believe there was actually any God"

(David actually is an Atheist in Palamon after his brother John is killed. Later a god appears to him and he does believe then)

Leslie
"Oh, well, good," I said. "Because there isn't. No God! He's made-up."

David:
"So people just go nowhere when they die?"
