Broken and Bruised

Aribella - I smirked, "How about we play the game where you let me go and I go home."

Daniel: "Sorry it is." I said standing. "I'll go grab the game." I walked from the room.

Aribella - "But--" I sputtered as he walked away. "I don't want to play Sorry." I sighed to myself.

Daniel: I poked my head back in the room. "Then what do you want to play?"

Aribella - I jumped, "Would you not scare me like that!?" I yelled at him.

Daniel: I tilted my head, ""No?"

Aribella - "You're impossible!" I groaned as I sat my head back on what was meant to be a pillow, instead my head hit the headboard. "Ow. I never used to hurt myself when I was at home."

Daniel: I laughed good naturedly, "I've been called worse. The game?"

Aribella - "I don't care, pick one, just not Sorry or Monopoly." I said irritated.

Daniel: I chuckled and ducked back out of the room. "Uno!" I yelled over my shoulder.

Aribella - I sighed, This would actually be fun if I wasn't being held against my will and fed off of, I thought to myself.

Daniel: I grabbed Unofficial from the supply closet and started back towards the room. What am I doing i thought.

Aribella - I thought of my guardian angel and got butterflies in my stomach. What would he think if he knew I was going to play Uno with Daniel?

I stepped back in the room and grabbed a small table. I lifted it over my head with one hand and held the cards with the other. "Honey I'm home!" I called out walking into her room.

Aribella - "Saying the same thing everytime you come into the room is going to get very annoying."

Daniel: I shrugged and sat the table down in front of her. "What can I say? I Love Lucy was one of my favorite shows."

Aribella - I couldn't help myself, I started laughing, "I think that's a sign that you might want to get a guy next time you pick someone."

Daniel: I shot her a dirty look, not lowering my self to reply. I began shuffling the cards.

Aribella - I rolled my eyes at him, "Don't be so sensitive. And I can't really play cards handcuffed."

Daniel: I flashed her a bare fanged smile. "Just remember," I said unlocking her cuffs. "I'm faster and stronger than you. If you try to escort there will be consequences." I leaned back in my chair. "And I'm not sensitive."

Aribella - "I'm not stupid enough to try to run away while you're here with me," I smirked as I sat up and got my cards.

Daniel: I shrugged and picked up my cards. I ordered them and glanced at her, ready to go. "Glad to hear you aren't stupid."

Aribella - I did the same with my cards and began the game, "Well, I must have some parts of me that are stupid, I let you convince me to take you to the park, then went in with you."

Daniel: I played a card, "Not your fault. My kind are naturally drawing, humans want to be near us. I'm better at turning it on at will then most. You could almost say I made your mind forget its fear.

Aribella - "You didn't do that," I scoffed, "I was terrified, just curiousity got the best of me..."
