Broken and Bruised

Daniel: "What did i set up?" I asked leaning over infront of her trying to see.

Aribella - "There is no way I'm kissing you!" I said handing him the block. "How can you get slow dancing with a broom and I get kissing you!"

Daniel: I laughed, "Not sure." I placed the block on the table and laid back putting my hands behind my head. "Your choice, you could always declare me the winner ...."

Aribella - I gave him a glare, "Fine. I'll do it."

Daniel: I lost the smirk, "Really?" I asked sitting up.

Aribella - "It means nothing," I said, "I just have a problem where I hate to lose."

Daniel: I nodded, "of course."

Aribella - I took a deep breath before walking over to him nervously.

Daniel: I froze in place not wanting to make her anymore nervous than she already was.

Aribella - Finally I pressed my lips to his...

Daniel: I forced myself to remain frozen, when I really wanted to kiss her back. My fists clinched, this was like torture in its purest form. But I figured that most likely if I kissed her, she might slap me. It wouldn't hurt, but the feeling was there. Best to just let her kiss me. But still...

Aribella - I pulled back with a deep blush on my cheeks. I wanted to kiss him again... but I couldn't. I wouldn't let myself.

Daniel: I sat still for a moment trying to keep myself in check. Unable to do so I leaned forward and gave her a kiss.

Aribella - I was shocked as he kissed me back, but quickly found myself returning his kiss.

Daniel: I let the kiss continue for a moment, getting deeper and filling me with feeling I hadn't felt for years. Then I pulled back, a slight blush to my cheeks. I couldn't bring myself to apologize, nor could I continue as if nothing happened.

Aribella - I kept my eyes on my lap. I would not be the first to say anything. I would not. I couldn't believe I had just kissed my aunt's high school sweetheart and liked it. Something was seriously wrong with me.

Daniel: I opened my mouth to say something then shut it. I couldn't think of the right thing to say. Finally I figured the best thing to do was see if it could happen again. I laid a finger below her chin and raised it so I could see into her eyes.

Aribella - Looking into his eyes I blushed even more. He was my aunt's high school sweetheart, this was wrong, I couldn't kiss him again... but... then again...

Daniel: I leaned forward and kissed her gently on the lips. I was wrong before, she isn't anything like her aunt. She's herself. And I found myself wanting the kiss never to stop.

Aribella - I remembered myself and pulled away from the kiss. "Wait!"

Daniel: I froze and pulled back, knowing I did something wrong. I knew she wouldn't want to kiss me, I kidnapped her after all. I found my voice and this time I was able to bring myself to say, "I'm sorry."

Aribella - "No, you shouldn't apologize," I said immediately feeling bad, "It's just. Are you sure you want to kiss me?"

Daniel: I blinked confused, "What?" She didn't want me to apologize? Of course I wanted to kiss her.

Aribella - "I mean, I'm her neice, and I'm not her, and..." I trailed off embarrased.

Daniel : I grinned softly, "I know that." I ran a finger across her cheek to wipe the hair out of her face. "You are look like her but are completely different in all other ways. You are Aribella, and she is Sammie, a girl from my past."
