A New Ending

Nathanial: I smiled and knelt on one knee, taking her hand and kissing it. "May I have the pleasure of taking such a beautiful lady to the ball?"

Alison: I blushed and said yes.

Nathanial: I smiled and kissed her hand again before standing up and kissing her gently on the lips.

Alison: I smiled under the kiss. I didnt care who saw I loved him.

Nathanial: I pulled back and smiled. "I'll see you tonight."

Alison: I laughed. "Aye my love."

~THAT NIGHT~

Alison: I was dressed into my midnight blue dress and my grandmother's pearl earrings dangled. I also had my mother's wedding blue saphire necklace on. My hair was down and curled. I looked one more time in the looking glass (Mirror) before my mother called me downstairs. Finally I thought.

Nathanial: I dressed in my best clothes and waited for Alison.

Alison: I got to the mayor's home and stepped out with my sister and mother. We walked into the room and our name was announced.

Nathanial: At the sound of Alison's name I perked up, waiting for my beloved.

Alison: I walked in the room. I hate it when people stare at me and my family. My mother walked in and went over to talk to Mrs.Grandpre. My sister went over to see her friend Shelby. I walked around trying to find Nathanial.

Nathanial: I stepped him front of her and bowed holding my hand out for her.

Alison: I smiled but right before I could take it the duke came. "Hello my darling." The duke said in his rough voice.

Nathanial: I looked up and scrunched my eyebrows together in frustration. "Hello, my good sir."

Alison: I held my breath. The duke bowed. "Charmed. My dear who is his?" He asked as he put his arm around my waist. I felt uncomfortable.

Nathanial: I looked at the duke, green with envy. He was taking the one I loved from me.

Alison: I looked at Nathanial. "His name is Nathanial Smith." I said quietly. I felt the duke pull me closer to his and put his lips on my cheek.

Nathanial: I clenched my hands into fists, but held them by my sides.

Alison: I turned to say something to the duke but his lips found mine. His lips were chapped and he was a terrible kisser. He pulled me closer and kissed deeper.

Nathanial: I turned away, unable to watch any longer, afraid I would do something.

Alison: I pulled away and pulled the duke into a hug and whispered in his ear. "Leave me alone." I said threatening him. The Duke pulled back and walked away. I went up to Nathanial and looked at him fully. He was even more handsome then I thought.

Nathanial: I smiled at Alison and brought her into a hug.

Alison: "Im sorry Nathanial."
