Character Chats Are Fun

(Ok good, I mean I would be so screwed if it was, I would have to change every time I said Palamon in Lord of the Sky)

David:
I yawn and ask again, "Could I be taught to light my sword on fire?"

"You might say we aren't from around here," remarks Hannah, swinging down from the tethered airship.
"That's true enough," cuts in Duan. "I don't think we're even in the same world any more."

David:
"Honestly I believe the same thing," I say looking around, "I don't see the typical animals around here, there are no Rask, or Demeri"

(Rask are as common as squirrels, basically they are reptiles with six legs blue and red scales, and small sharp fangs, they are usually harmless. Demeri are like pet dogs, they are around five feet tall mammals, four legged sharp clawed and herbivores, they are docile but fight fiercely when their master is threatened)

"Maybe...it could work." said Ezra, thoughtfully.

David:
I offer my sword, "Give it a try?"

"Sure," said Ezra. He began speaking quickly in a strange tongue until the blade was covered with flames.

David:
"Amazing!" I say, "Will you teach me?"

Kiera:
"Teach him so I don't have to swoop in and save him everytime he gets in a fight" I say smiling which looks rather menacing on a dragon. And I affectioanately nuzzle his head.

David:
I stand there eyes narrowed at her demeaning words.

"I can try...it doesn't always work well for others....and it may wear you out...but I'll try."

David:
"Try please"

"Ok," sadi Ezra. He opened the book to a certain page, and instructed him on how to do the spell.

David:
"Okay" I try the incantation and my sword bursts into flames. The flames shooting off the blade about ten feet. "CRAP!" I yell and drop the blade. The flame goes out. "Stupid elf mother. Elves in Palamon generally are able to use magic to better affect than humans, I'm still weaker than a regular elf, but I can't control my own magic strength yet"

"I was relate to one of the greatest..and evil sorceress of all time...don't demean me. I have a better control of it."

David:
"I understand, I am related to an elf. Thats all I'm saying"

Kiera:
"Elves are by far the most powerful magical beings ever" I say, "And because David is related to one he is the strongest magical human ever"

David:
"Honestly do you have to try and talk down to every one"

Kiera:
"I have to because generally I am taller than most humans" I say chuckling at my own joke.

David:
*Facepalm*

"I can take him. I was trained as an assasin."

David:
"I was raised on the streets of Alarakar to steal and kill. You may be able to beat me but I won't go down easily"

"Neither will I," grinned Ezra.

David:
"I do not intend to fight you"

"Oh but it's fun," said Ezra wickedly.

"if you striplings have finished arguing about which of you is less of a milksop, perhaps you would care to regard a REAL fighter."
Rhyad draws his sabre and flourishes it needlessly.
"That's just... needless," says Hannah, putting a hand to her face.

David:
"I do not want to fight anyone!" I say exasperated.

Kiera:
"Why? You could crush them all" I say nudging him with my nose.

David:
"Shut up Kiera!"

(Regret, do your charries have any magical powers)

"HA! I could crush you all!"

((No. However, they are not to be underestimated. Do any of your characters fly?))

"Well then, if you're so confident, boyos, why don't you all come and have a go, eh? Should be as easy as tea and scones against an old fuddy-duddy like me, what?"
Hannah twirls her pistol and grasps it by the barrel, raising it above Rhyad's head. As she is shorter than him, from behind all that can be seen is the butt of the pistol above his pith helmet.
Duan grabs her arm. "Let him be," he hisses.

"Ah...so you're afraid I'll kill them...I don't kill."
