Character Chats Are Fun

Ezra thrust him self forward, "LET'S DO THIS!!!"

David:
"Kiera, take down Ezra, without killing him!"

Kiera:
"Alright" I say and swing around slamming my tail towards Ezra.

Ezra flew backwards, hitting a tree. He groaned from the pain. He shook his head and began mumbling in another tongue. He hurled a ball of fire at David.

David:
The fire ball takes me and Kieara head on and we are unharmed. "Remember Ezra, Kiera and I are fire proof, she is a dragon and I am a rider"

"Crap," said Ezra, grabbing a sword from the ground. He began to speak quickly, as if whispering instructions, and the sword flung toward David.

David:
"By the Creator! You people can be annoying sometimes!"

Kiera:
"Pray that Ga'ard will save you!" I say as I twirl doing a barrel roll to protect David from the sword. It grazed my leg as I flew and I winced in pain.

Ezra pushed into David's mind, trying to find a painful memory. Once he hadfound one he brought it to surface.

(Ezra's doing something caled mind torture. It brings painful memories and makes the victim almost relive them.)

"Dammit!" roars Rhyad. "They have the advantage of range!"
The airship comes about, too slowly to avoid the jet of fire. However, airship technology is far superior in their world, and the jet simply bounces off of the armoured envelope. Rhyad ducks back into the gondola and retrieves his dead wife's favourite gun. He says a quick prayer of thanks to her soul and hefts the heavy three-barrelled gun. it is not a modern one with an electrical motor, so he cranks it by hand and it starts spewing heavy brass shells indiscriminately.
"Draw your sword and fight me like a man!" he bellows.

"Fine," smirked Ezra, grabing another sword and hurling it toward Ryhnd.

The sword snatches the pith helmet from Rhyad's head and pins it to the door to the gondola.
"My hat!" he cries. "You'll pay for that, rogue!"
he throws down the gun, draws his heavy sabre and leaps from the gondola towards Ezra. Ye yanks the ripcord on his backpack, and a set of massive wings unfold, built of canvas stretched over a light wooden frame.

Ezra laughed, "You think you can take me?"

"You barely stand a chance," laughs Rhyad. "I've dodged the cannons of the Norlan warriors, and met the Demon Sultan in hand-to-hand combat on the steps of the Ice Palace."
He swoops down on Ezra and swings his sword at his neck, as a cleverly-disguised feint.

Ezra ducked, "Nice but you'll pay for that." Ezra hurled a ball of fire at Rhynd.

David:
I laugh at Ezra's futile attempts to invade my mind. "You seriously haven't spent much times with elves have you? We are very secretive so over time casting spells on elvish children constantly had spells cast on them so their minds could not be invaded at all. Over time it became that elves were born immune to scrying, mind reading etcetera"

Kiera:
I glare at the airship and send another column of flame at it.

(dude...you're power playing....)

"Then what are you not immune to?"

(NO! Seriously! Elves are usually immune to mind attacks! Look in Eragon and Eldest and I think Tolkein's books might have that too. I'm trying to base my elves on past literature)
David:
"Um, swords?"

That may be true, Conor, but also take into account that your characters are both fireproof, too. They can't be everything-proof; that isn't quite fair!))

(THEY AREN'T SHARP POINTY OBJECTS PROOF KIERA GOT CUT BY EZRA! When I easily could have said her hard scales deflected the blade, but I did not!)

"Okay then," said Ezra, grabbing several swords and flinging them at David.

David:
"S***!" I yell as the swords create cuts across my body varying from tiny scrapes to deep gouges in my flesh. I start bleeding bad. "Kiera! Do you know any healing spells?"

Kiera:
"I can't do magic I'm a dragon!"

David:
"Dragons have lots of knowledge though maybe you heard of something in your travels?"

Kiera:
"I'M FOURTEEN!"

David:
"Is that a no then?"

"I know some," smirked Ezra.

"EZRA!" shouted Liz.

"WHAT?!"

"FIX HIM!"

"Fine," Ezra groaned. "May I?"

David:
"If you want" I was a little puzzled we were fighting after all.

Kiera:
"Fix me too!" I say brandishing my mangled leg.

"Since Liz said so...I will. It may be easier on the ground though."

David:
"Kiera take us down please" I say.

Kiera:
"No" I say bluntly, "I don't trust him once we are on the ground he'll just kill us with poison or something"

"First off...I'd have to brew that....secondly, Liz would kill me if I did that."
