I look at him my eyes narrowed, "I've learned from experience subdue first ask questions later"

"So have I but ways can be changed...and I'm still learning," he said, looking away.

By the way, how have you been keeping up?

Also, condog, I guess you didn't see, but Senet isn't projecting a field anymore; he's fighting now, and he and Nike have split up.))

I focused my attention on the one that had just thrown a knife at my brother. My poor, frozen brother... The sight made me sick to my stomach.
"'EY!" I yelled at the attacker. "Zjust 'oo ze 'ell do you zeenk you ahre?!"
I launched slicing winds at him.

"Who is the real good guy?" Ezra asked again.

((Alice: Keep fightin', I guess. Artemis was fighting Senet, but Senet has a new focus now. You could try to attack him while he's distracted, I suppose.))

"We ahre!" I snapped, still furious. "We're ze good guys! Enemies of ze Sybek!"

"Why? I need a valid reason....what's your aim?"

"To stop ze Sybek fhrom keelleeng evehryone!" I told him.

"I'm on your side then," said Ezra quickly. He pushed into Likel's mind, selecting a painful memory.

((Dude...Likel and Na'arsif have both left xD Na'arsif got injured and shifted; Likel followed to help him.

Also, I like how Ezra just believes him without a doubt xD Senet could be lying, for all Ezra knows, lol.))

"You'd believe me so hreadeely?" I asked, surprised. "We've been enemies zees whole fight! Not zat I don't mind haveeng allies...but why?"

"I don't like people to die," said Ezra, looking away.

"Fine by me!" I said. Then, more intensely, with an edge to my voice that I couldn't keep out, "And I would apphreciate eet eef you would unfhreeze my bhrozehr."

Peter: "Eight pages. Two nights. Three days. Someone kill me now."

Na'arsif: "I'll du id!"

Peter: "I didn't really mean that!"))

Ezra created the small fire again, trying to melt the ice. The ice slowly began to melt.around his shoulder.

I sighed, relieved that we weren't fighting. At least, this guy wasn't, anyway. I couldn't speak for the weird silver-haired girl or the dragon and its lunatic rider.
"Zank you," I said gratefully to my new ally, throwing a pained smile towards where Peter stood, frozen alive. I couldn't actually look.
This fucking sucks, he thought to me, anger in his words.
We'hre goeeng to get you out, I promised.

"I'm Ezra," he said, still concentraiting on melting Peter. "Sorry I made you loose concentration earlier," he mumbled to Peter.

The apology makes it so much better! Peter snapped.
