Intoxication (the band)

Ryan: This was an awful worksheet. "I hate math," I complained.

Kelsey: I looked over at him. "It's not that bad."

Ryan: I sighed. "Want to explain it to me?"

Kelsey: I leaned across the aisle slightly and showed him. "See? Not that hard, once you get the hang of it."

Ryan: I tried putting the numbers into the formula and it worked this time. "Oh. Thanks. I'm not very good at math."

Kelsey: I shrugged. "You're welcome." And sat back in my seat.

Ryan: "You like math?" I asked her as I worked more problems.

Kelsey: I shrugged. "I'm good at it, but it's not like I do math problems in my free time or anything." Well, there was that /one/ time.

(lol Kelsey.)

Ryan: "Oh," I said. "I've never been good at math. I like History more because I can remember a lot of useless information well."

Kelsey: I laughed. "Huh. I don't think I've ever met someone with that skill."

Ryan: I laughed. "It's not like I have photographic memory or anything. That would be really awesome."

Kelsey: "Hmm, that would be pretty cool," I agreed.

Ryan: I nodded. "It would help with school." I sighed and erased something. "Dang it, I messed up."

Kelsey: "Just start over and fix it, then."

Ryan: "I don't want to. Math is annoying."

Kelsey: "So you'll fail instead?"

Ryan: I sighed. "Fine," I said and started fixing it.

(back to whatever class they have together? History?)

Shane: It was the end of the day. Well, time to get rid of the textbooks. I unloaded those and started grabbing what I needed before I drove home.

Annika: I really hated apologizing. Danica says it's a pride thing, but who's she to talk? She has a bigger ego than I do. I walked over to Shane's locker. "Um, Shane...I'm sorry for, uh, whatever I did that was apparently mean or rude or something earlier. Kay?"

Shane: I turned around and saw Annika. "Oh, hey," I said. "Um...nah, it's fine. It's cool," I said. "Sorry. I'm not very good at talking to people."

Annika: I had just realized how rambly my apology was. for some reason I hadn't been as crush-struck with Shane today, except for just now. And how he was looking at me, too. Shoot. "I'm not, either. Well, except it's in the opposite way, I think. You don't say anything at all, but I say wayyyy too much."

Shane: I laughed. "It's okay. At least you talk. It's easier to get someone to talk less than the other way around."

Annika: I smiled. "Yeah I guess so," I said with a shrug.
