Elements of Fate

Christy: "Well this was the most different day of my life" i said, "Its starting to get closer to summer. Soon there wont be much rain." I said referring to the pouring rain outside the window.

Aeon smiled at her. "All you can talk about it the weather around me?"

Tristin: I finished putting the lock back together and skipped back into the main part of the room, my bag of chocolates in hand. Finding an empty seat I dropped down next to Mirissa.

Mirissa: I glanced away from Nick to look at the chocolate covered boy, then the blinking door. "Umm, what did you do?"
"Just don't try breaking in anytime soon." He replied smiling.

( Where is everyone?)

Mirissa: I looked nervously at the door and Tristin laughed. "Do I want to know?" He shook his head and tossed another chocolate in his mouth.
"No, probably not."

Christy: i smiled, "Well what else do you want to talk about then?"

Nick: I glanced at the door and then at triston. This kid was starting to scare me...

*Peeks behind a concer*

Tristin: I grinned at Nick, at least some people understood I wasn't just a kid. I was a genius when it came to certain things. Not that I would come out and say it. That got me in trouble.

Aeon rolls his eyes. "I don't know, but I'm sure talking about the weather wouldn't have been a very long conversation."

Mirissa: I looked around nervously, I didn't like being around so many people I don't know. Trembling slightly I scooter closer to Nick.

Nick: I put my arm around Mirissa and brought her loser.

Christy: I thought for a moment. What should i say? "So you can heal?"

*closer

Aeon shrugged. "To some extent...it hasn't really been tested." He grinned. "I kinda only found out tonight, you know. There's not much I could've learned in that time. What do you control again?"

Christy: I smiled, "Earth" i said, and i touched the wilted flower on the windowsill. It brightened up and blossumed in a few seconds.

"Pretty," Aeon mumbled. "At least you don't have to help people...I've never been much of a helper."

Christy: i smiled, "Your helping me right now." i pointed out

Mirissa: I looked up at Nick and relaxed. For once I felt safe, I didn't even feel like that usually at home. There was nothing to be scared of, but I just couldn't help it. Dad called me paranoid. But sitting here, I felt safe. I let my eyelids drop a little.

Tristin: I dropped another piece of chocolate in my mouth and put the bag down. Feeling extremely bored I started flicking a little flame back and forth in my hands.

Nick: I let her head fall into my neck. I smiled, i hadnt felt like this in years. i was happy for once. Maybe it would last.

Mirissa: I felt myself slip into my dreams.

Running, I was always running. Running from what? I looked back, only able to hear the footsteps. Nothing, there was nothing there. I couldn't stop, fear making me push myself harder. Run, Run! Or else it will catch me.

Nick: Her breathing went even. "Mirissa?" i whispered. She was asleep.

Mirissa:

Run, run faster! Its catching up, it can't catch me. I trip, my knees scraping across the concrete. I crawl backwards blood smearing the sidewalk. Its getting closer, closer. His eyes are visible now, the dark green eyes. I wince, he's here. I can't let him catch me. I pull back, knowing it to be useful. Even in my dreams I can't escape the past. I can't changed it.

Nick: Mirissa's breathing was quickening. I looked down at her. She must be having a nightmare. "Mirissa? Mirissa."

Mirissa:

He moved closer and I felt the tears begin slipping down my cheeks. No, I couldn't let him catch me again. I struggled to move back, away from him. He knelt down, and I knew then I couldn't get away. I would never escape him, and now I would be punished for trying. He reached for me-

I woke up, tears beginning their way down my cheeks. Why couldn't I just forget?

Nick: Tears ran down her cheeks. "Are you okay?" i asked and tried to comfort her.

Mirissa: I jumped at his voice and hastily wiped the tears from my eyes. "Yes, I'm fine." I made myself smile.

Nick: I knew her smile was forced. I looked into her eyes "Are you sure?"
