Daggerhorn..

Megan: I still saw the black spots. I felt numb. I couldnt feel anything.

Adam: I ran through th eforest. I got home and packed a bag of all the stuff I would need. I ran out back into the forest.

The healers worked intensley, finally getting the wounds to stop bleeding, filling them with ointments, and then wrapping them. Mother looked up at the boy. "Who are you?"

James: It didn't take me long before I caught up to him and tackled him to the ground with the help of Ben and Jason. We tied his hands behind his back and I glared at him, spitting on his shoe before we led him back towards the camp.

Brian: "My name is Brian" I said and held out my hand.

Mother looked at his hand curiously and took it, held it for a second, not sure what to do with it, then let go. "Is there a reason you have come to the sick tent?"

Megan: I felt cold but then a fire came in me and I screamed it got hotter.

Adam: I cussed and blacked out from the pain.

Mother looked back at Megan and sighed, quickly mixing some herbs and having her drink the liquid they made.

Artemis remained out, her face paling with a sticky swear as her breath became shallow

Hayley: I started to walk home from the store and heard commotion down the road. There were gunshots. Brian was over there. I ran in the direction of the shots and saw Brian talking to someone, he was okay. I let out a sigh of relief but saw the two girls on the ground. I walked Brians direction.

Brian: "I just wanted to make sure Megan and the other girl were okay. I met megan earlier."

Megan: I woke up with a deep breath. "Were... were is Artemis?" I asked weakly.

James: I dropped the man, Adam, in the middle of the commons to be dealt with accordingly by the elders of our camp. I then quickly made for the tent and saw Artemis's pale body and I rushed to her side. "Artemis?" I asked, taking her hand gently. "Don't give up Artemis." I said and poured a few drops of "Living Water" down her throat, helping her swallow it


Mother glanced at them both. "Thank you for your concern." she said to Brian and then looked at Megan and did her best to calm her down. "She is resting on the other side of the tent."

Megan: "I..I need to see her." I gasped. "I should be the one almost dead... not her.." I said.

Artemis stirred, a voice breaking through the fog covering her mind. Her eyes fluttered open and she breathed in sharply.

Adam: I woke in the middle of thier camp. I spatt and tried to sit but couldnt.

Mother shushed her and put a rag on her forehead. "What's done is done. You must both now rest."


James: I looked down at her and gave a small hopeful smile. I quickly put another green leaf on her tongue, the juices from it helped to ease the pain. I used it all the time. "How are you feeling?"

Megan: "Please.... Let me see her." I said with a sharp breath. My side was burning.

Mother pursed her lips as she stared at her. She sighed and gave a slight nod. "But then you must lay back down. We don't want any more villegers shooting at us."

Artemis winced, any movement hurt "like there's a hole in me" she replied through her teeth

Megan: I nodded and stood with trouble. "Thank you." I walked out in pain and saw Artemis. "Artemis!" I said as I went to her. "Im so sorry." I said with tears in my eyes.

Brian: I heard my sister coming from behind. "Brian, i heard the gunshots, are you okay?" She asked and i nodded, "Im fine" i glanced back at the tent.

"s'fine" she replied wearly, her eyes drooping close on their own accord "you-youjk okayut?" she asked, her words sluring as the darkness threatened her

James: I gave a slight smirk. "That's funny. There is a hole in you." I said as I looked over the wound. "Suck on the green leaf, it will help." I said before reaching for a can of ointment and rubbing it around the wound gently. I looked up to see Megan coming in and sighed.

Mother came out of the tent wiping her hands on an apron and looked at Brian. "Is there anything I can get you? something to drink or eat?" she asked kindly

Megan: I cried. "Im fine. Im worried about you Im so sorry..." I saw darkness once again and I felt dizzy.

Artemis hissed in pain as he applied the oatment "wha-what happpenneded tos himmkmm?"

Hayley: "Lets go home" i said, rubbing my arms. It was getting cold. Brian sighed. I knew he hated it there. I did too. Our parents were controlling and tried to make our choices for us. Mom wanted me to be a dancer and dad wanted brian to be a hunter. But our parents knew nothing about us.

Megan: I sat up and sighed. "I think they got him... I hope they did. I hate my brother." I snarled but then the pain became unbarable.
