Megan felt tears comming and she whipped them out of frustration. She pulled out her note book and started to draw. She took her frustation out on the paper.

I heard the sound of someone crying. I frowned, still outside the door of my classroom. Should I...? It really wasn't any of my business, and I was late to class already...but I never liked it when people were sad. Besides, I didn't think anyone would begrudge me for being late to class, seeing as it was my first day. What would it matter if I were just a little bit later?
I headed around the corner to see a tearful girl sitting against the lockers and drawing.
"Euh, I don't mean to pry," I started, "but...ahre you alhright? ...Ah, zat was a dumb question; of couhrse you'hre not alhright. I 'ate eet when people ask stuff like zat...and now you probably zeenk I'm chrazy."

"It's notes, but...I can tell you exactly what they say," Erika admitted. A lot of people knew she had problems reading. "You're supposed to copy them down."

((Erm... I was under the impression that we decided that Erika is coming to find T.Mor...As of most recent discussion in the box...I edited to allow for that. Clarification please? ))

"Then can you help me? Erm...If...you don't mind that is?" T.Mor asked, looking hopelessly at the board. "And...What do you mean..Notes?" He was terribly confused about everything, and it was quite...Difficult.

I quietly opened the door to the History room and skittered over to the teacher. I could feel some of the students eyes on me, wondering why i was interrupting. I tapped the teacher on the shoulder and mumbled to her.

"Mrs. Mullen needs to see T...Mor...Morbid," I sounded it out. "Please."

Mrs. Mullen gestured to a kid (T. Mor) to come to the front of the class.

T.Mor stood up, kind of wondering what was going on. He made his way awkwardly to the front of the room. "Yes?" He asked. He hoped he wasn't in trouble.

"Mrs. Mullen wants to see you," Erika said to the boy, just repeating what the teacher had told her. She was more comfortable around people like her, though. "Come on." She turned around and went out the door, expecting him to follow her.

"Ok..." T.Mor followed the ginger out the door, curious as to who Mrs.Mullen was, and why she wanted to see him. "Erm...Can I ask why?" He asked.

"She's the reading teacher," Erika said, talking more normally when it was just them in the hallway, walking to Mrs. Mullen's room. "And you need help with reading. I do, too. There are actually a lot of us...."

"Help...Help is putting it...Nicely I think." T.Mor said. He was happy to know that he wasn't alone in his illiteracy issues. "Erm...So...this will help me look at all that stuff on the board...and make it make sense...right?" He guessed. "Because...I was...very uhh...confused." T.Mor said, somewhat inarticulately.

"MMhmm, that's the idea." Erika smiled as they came to Mrs. Mullen's door.

"Oh. Good. That'll be...good." He said. He looked at the door. "Do I just...go in?" He was somewhat nervous about going in that room. Fear of the unknown and all. "Erm...Is...is she nice? What do I say? "He asked apprehensively. "Oh...erm I guess I should ask your name too..." T.Mor added awkwardly.

"I'm Erika. We can go in together, I think she had some things planned for me, anyway." I pushed open the door and went inside. Mrs. Mullen was at her desk.

"Nice to meet you...I'm T.Mor...Oh...wait, you knew that. Erm...Thanks." T.Mor said as he entered the room. He looked at Mrs.Mullen. "Hi..." He said nervously. "Erm...I'm here." He stated, unsure how to proceed with this sort of interaction. He'd never done anything like this at home.

"Hello, T.Mor, take a seat. I'm Mrs. Mullen," The woman said with a crinkly smile. There were four desks in her room, it was small, because she only had little groups of students at once.

Erika went and took one of the desks, too, she knew the drill.

"Erm...Ok..." T.Mor sat down at a desk and looked at the lady with uncertain grey eyes.

"Let's try some flashcards, to see where your knowledge is." Mrs. Mullen held one up that simply said 'cat.'

T.Mor stared blankly at it. Those were...letters. He knew that. Right. And then...Well...that was about all he knew. "Those are letters...And..erm...they spell something..." He explained quietly.

(Ummm, I'm supposed to be talking to Ginger. Who's character is Ginger? Because they haven't replied yet.)

Megan couldnt help but laugh. "Im ok for now..." She smiled. "Your french." She said.

"Yes, I'm Fhrench," I said with a friendly smile. "And you'hre Amehreecan. So what's youhr name, Amehreecan?"

Megan laughed softly. "Im Megan and you are.....?"

"I'm Senet," I answered. "Nice to meet you." Oh gosh, I hoped it wouldn't get into smalltalk. I'm terrible with smalltalk. I think I mentioned that.

Megan smiled "Nice to meet you Senet. So your new here?" She asked feeling shy. She looked away and down at the floor.

"Ah, yes," I answered. "Fihrst day, actually."
Heh...Megan looked as shy as I felt. I'm actually a rather shy person, which tends to surprise people because I play it off well.
