James chuckled as he watched her and smiled. "Tell me what you want to do, and I'll do it with you. As long as it's reasonable."

Sariah looked at him and smirked. "We'll see. First I have to make it through this one." she muttered and went back to chewing on her roll. About halfway through it she felt as if her stomach would explode from being so full. "You eat the rest." she said, handing it over to him.

Aretmis thought for a moment and pushed herself up "you promised me you'd teach me how to dance?"

James smiled and nodded. "I did. Would you like me to show you now?" He asked as he watched her.

Artemis tugged on his hand, trying and failing to pull him up "yes please" she grinned

James chuckled and heaved himself up, his bones cracking slightly as he did. They still were achey, the day not being fully warm yet. "Alright." He said and turned her to face the tents, his hand resting on her hips. "Now just follow what my hands tell you, alright?" He said and with that, he directed her hips to sway, one hand traveling up to her ribs and directing her top to hold still.

Artemis let him guide her and laughed, the movement feeling weird. "this is dancing?"

"Only part of it. First you have to get the hips down, then you can dance." James said and turned her to face him. "Now hands up." He said, directing her arms to be held in the air with his hands. "Now follow me." He said, his hand on her hips again as he moved with her, showing her the steps slowly so as to not make her sick again.

Artemis smiled widely, enjoying the feeling. "this is fun" she exclaimed, ignoring the dark spots that threatened to take over her vision

James smiled at her and chuckled. "It's even more fun when you have music." He said and stopped, just holding her. "You feeling alright?" he asked, watching her carefully.

Artemis allowed herself to go limp in his arms "of course" she lied "this whole pregnancy thing is a lot rough than I excepted is all" She shivered a little at the cold "you doing okay?" she asked in reference to the temperature

James held her and kissed the top of her head. "I'm doing ok." He murmered agains her hair though his body ached. "What can I do to help?" He asked, wishing he could make it less hard on her.

Artemis was going to tell him to just keep holding her, that that would make it all better, for her at least. But before she could so much as speak, the black spots converged and took over. And she passed out

James caught her, his eyes wide with worry. He quickly ran towards the healer's tent. "Help! My wife! She's passed out, I don't know what happened!" He said as they rushed him to the tent and made him lay her down on the bed and shoed him out of the tent. He stood there, the weather growing a little colder, his bones screaming in protest to holding their form as he sat there and waited.

At last one of the healers emerged and guestered for James to step aside and talk to him
"She is pregnant" the elderly lady stated, studying him

James frowned, his body starting to shake slightly, looking as though he was shivering. "Well I knew that."

The lady nodded, "she is rather small to be carrying.. there may be.. complications" She placed a warm hand on him, trying to soften the news

"What do you mean?" James asked as he tried to control the shivers. He could feel his heart starting to break. He knew what the woman was trying to telll him, but he wanted her to say it out right.

The lady sighed, her face looking worn out and weary "both lives are in danger" she squeezed his hand, pulling him to the tent "she's awake now, would you like to see her?"

"Y-yes." James said, wincing as the warm air hit him, making his bones scream once again in protest. His body was cold, but the air warm. It felt like the two shapes were playing tug of war with his body. So far the human shape was winning. He knelt down beside Artemis and pushed her hair from her face with a shakey hand, watching her carefully.

Artemis opened her eyes and smiled widely "hey" she croaked, nuzzling her face into his hand

"Hey," James said with a lop-sided slight grin. "How are you feeling?" His voice was soft, quiet, and his hand was trembling despite his efforts to control it.

"perfectly fine."
Artemis frowned, softly taking his hand in hers "are you okay?"

James gave a small smile. "It just got a little nippy outside is all." He said, fighting back a wince as again his body screamed in pain. He would fight it though. Make his form stay put.

Artemis pulled him to her, offering up her body heat to help fend off the cold. "What is it like? Shifting I mean"
