The Facility

Brandon padded his pockets, "Um..." He pulled a nano out of the side. "Yep, not sure if it's your kind of music." He almost blushed, his kinda music didn't reflect him at all. He like songs like Jar of Hearts and If I die young. Nice country songs.

Kylia shrugged. "Anything will do." she said her wings unfolding as she held tight to his hands and lifted them both off the ground. Luckily the ceilings and doorways were both high, and wide which made it easier for her to fly. For this she was greatfull because flying was much faster than walking.

Brandon looked at the ground in wonder, and a little frightened. Not that he would admit that. "I'm glad, 'cause its mostly the same kind of music."

Kylia set him down a the door and flew through the door way and into the auditorium and started flicking on the lights, hovering above the ground, not wanting to put her wings away. "Up there, there's an ipod hook up. Plug it in." she said pointing to a sound booth.

Brandon put his hand up in a salute. "Aye-Aye Captain Kylia." He gave a goofy bow and started towards the booth.

Kylia rolled her eyes but smiled and watched him.

Now for a little harpie history. Harpies are very sensitive creatures. According to Greek mythology they were created to torture souls on their way to Tartarus. But that's not the case. Harpies are creatures, like everything else. Just a mutated version of humans. Their bodies were made to be desireous so as to ensure survival. But that's not the only thing that is desirous. Their voices are like that of a siren's, sweet and melodic when they sing. Anyone within range comes under a hypnotic spell and they will do anything to get to her, or anything she wills them to do. That's the reason Kylia refused to sing as the music started. Because although she loves to sing, and absolutely loves music, she was scared of herself

Brandon plugged it in and pressed play. Jumping over the counter before the sound booth he held out a hand. "May I have this dance m'lady?" He asked giving another goofy bow.

((^.^ that's my definition anyway. I wrote a short story about a harpie who fell in love and commited suicide because her lover died in a storm...it was sad. But that's the way I described her in the story))

Kylia looked at him a little taken aback but smiled, letting her feet touch the ground, her wings melting into her back and took his hand. "Alright."

Bradon smiled, "Cool." The iPod started 'Farmers' Daughter' and he took her hands.

Christian decided that waiting wasn't good enough, so he decided to look around the hallways. They're kinda scary... he thought, but the thoughts then set up on the guards pushing a blonde haired girl (Taylor) into a room. Once the guards left he decided to peer through her doorway. "Hello?"
He creeped slowly into the room. "Hellooo?"

why they're here: Every time she gets some kind of high emotion the weather goes crazy. She got ticked at her boyfriend and he got struck by lightning.
Personality: Scared, jumpy, tempermental, kinda sweet.

I looked around my room and sighed. Stupid powers, they were the reason i was here. All because i didnt die. Because the bullent went right through me. Everyone thought i was crazy.

Abby woke up sometime around some time...she didn't really care to look at her watch. Damn, can't get anymore sleep... She stirred from her bed and decided to take a nice stroll around the halls. Maybe even seen if Cole was in his art studio still. Judging his luck, that Bradon guy probably found his old room by now and is kicking Cole's a**.

Christian stared even more at the girl, not finding anything odd with her. She looked like an average girl. Then again, she must've been frightened by him...he wasn't very average. He tilted his head and smiled at the girl. "Are you new here?"

Kristy sighed and looked at the big entry doors, the guards shoved her a moment later. "Just cause we like ya miss doesn't mean you don't have to go in." A tall guard said and she nodded with a faint smile.
"I understand." She waved at the guards and walked through the door. The sky above was bright, clouds scattered across the sky as if uncertain of what to do. She smiled again, they reflected her perfectly.
Then the doors shut behind her and she heard the rumble of thunder from the clouds.

Kylia giggled as they danced her bright eyes sparkling happily. It took all she had to not sing with the song.

Brandon did his best not to step on her feet. Why in the world had he asked her to dance? He was the worse dancer in his family. Holding his breath he smiled happily at her as the song began to fade.

Cole slipped from his room and down to Brandon's. Perhaps the rumors were wrong and he wasn't back yet. It made a wonderful art studio....

Kylia smiled up at him. She couldnt see how he could kill anyone. Despite herself in the silence she quietly began to sing. The lyrics of secret love by mandy moore slid off her tongue like liquid silk

Beacon blinked, the sound of her voice more compelling than anything he'd ever felt before. Sure, some distant piece of his mind recognized it as what it was. I mean he'ddone something similar to control people's minds. But that was a distant part of his mind. Brandon's eyes became glassy as he looked at her anew. Suddenly he felt as though she could ask for the world and he would try and give it to her.

Abby is surprised when she saw Cole coming to the art studio. Mostly because she didn't know who he was at first. It wasn't until she realize the raven hair and the smirk that she knew it was Cole.
"Hey, what's up?"

Cole glanced up, startled. Hiding his surprise he placed the usual smirk on his face. "The ceiling, are you blind now?"

Abby gave a "pff" and gave him a glare. "Ha ha, very funny."
She then thought for a moment to give a better comeback.
"Still got that picture of me you drew?"

Cole paled, she couldn't know he drew another. "You saw me burn them."

Abby thought for a moment. Did he burn all of them? She couldn't recall. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Damn, I thought I could get him there... Then again, the way he was pale, he might've made another one. She rolled her shoulder back and kept doing so until her bones popped. "Man, the beds here suck."

Cole laughed, his color returning. "This place isn't a high class hotel that your used to anyway."
