Once again artemis became so lost in his touch, it was like she didn't have an identity anymore. She knew nothing but the pleasure radiating through her body

((yay me! *takes bite of chicken and falls over happy* x.x ))

James made sure to be careful, minding himself. When they slowed again, his own body was aching around his many wounds, though he didn't care. He was to fixed on Artemis and the pleasure she brought.

Artemis gave a content sigh and occupied herself by kissing his neck softly "you did that on purpose" she accused, referring how she wanted to get him a healer and he stopped her with this

"Well..you left me no choice." James said with a slight smirk. "I couldn't help myself. The view was just to good."

Artemis shook her head and let her kisses trail downward "ditto"

James's body shuddered with happiness and pleasure as he smiled, closing his eyes.

Lark grinned and let the next kiss get a little deeper.

Down, down, down, the kisses went until artemis stopped, lingering over his navel teasingly, then worked her way back up

Sariah smiled happily and kissed the corner of his mouth and down his neck, laying her head on him and sighed contentedly.

"You're such a tease." James murmered and brought her lips back to his and before she could do much, they were tangled again.

Artemis chuckled, she knew. Days passed like this- the pleasure; the slow healing of their wounds, mental and otherwise; the warming of the weather. Until one day, artemis woke up without tears in her eyes over their lose, she had at last found peace

James was already outside, having started to go back to work. He was tending the horses as always.

Artemis felt out around her sadly, wishing it was james besides her and not his pillow but alas, he had to work. She stretched and slipped out of bed, pulling on a light dress and fixing her hair into a, somewhat, presentable mess.

James winced as he shoveled hay into the horse's pin. his shoulder was still acting up, though his wounds were still having troubles healing. He took a deep breath and kept at his work, doing his best to ignore the pain.

Artemis walked through the camp, she knew where to find James but she felt like wandering for a while. She had a lot on her mind

A sharp pain ran through his shoulder to his chest, and he groaned, collapsing to the ground.

Lark forced himself yo remember she just had a baby and laid back with a smile.

Artemis sighed and made her way over to James, her face filling with horror as she spotted him on the ground "james!" she exclaimed, running to him

James was unconcious, his breath slow and ragged and his heart beat uneven.

Sariah cuddled him happily. Just as she got herself settled, Colton began to cry. She sighed and pulled herself up, moving a little slower than usual, her body aching as she walked to get him.

"James!!!" Her cries brought forth a healer and Artemis watched them work, tears streaming down her face as worry tore apart her insides "is-is he going to be okay?"

Lark watched her intently, ready to Help if needed.

The healer gave a slight nod and sighed. "His wounds, they are infected. But I think he must have had a heart attack." The woman said as she tended to him.

Sariah picked little Colton up and sighed. "You're noisey." She told him with a smile which got a coo in response. She smiled and chuckled as he began to root her and sighed. "Alright, alright." she murmered and made her way back over to the bed and sat down and fed him.

Lark smiled as he watched.

Artemis froze, staring at her in horror "a-a what?"

"A heart attack." The woman repeated and got some men to lift him up and take him to the cot under the tree. In the warmer months the healers liked to try and keep the patients outside unless they had to undress the patients.

Sariah leaned back against Lark and sighed. She handed Colton to him to burp when he was done eating.
