Broken and Bruised

Jessie looked up and frowned, not many people went out at this time of day. He went over and opened the door.

Sam chuckled and threw Catalina against the wall, "You know what, I think I'll just leave her here. She needs her sleep anyway." he called out as Catalina slumped to the ground, the force of her hitting the wall knocking her out. He ran down the hall now, he knew Catalina would never run.

Melanie- I swallowed the lump in my throat when I heard a thump. "I'm sorry, Cat," I whispered. I ran as fast as I could down the hall.

Tori- I watched Jessie go over to the door. "What's going on out there?" I asked out of curiosity.

Shrugging Jessie stepped into the hall, and saw a girl running right at him. What was her name.....? Melanie, Sam's other human. Without thinking he put out a hand to stop her.

Sam-still running.....

Melanie- I saw him put out his hand and I tried to dodge him.

Once again Jessie reached out unthinkingly, grabbing her arm.
Sam ran up the hall to where they were, "Jessie."
"This yours?" Jessie asked with a smirk.

Melanie- I tried to pull away. "Let me go!" I shouted.

Sam nodded, "She tried to escape." Jessie winced, eyeing the girl apologetically.
"Oh?" He said tried to hide his feelings by replacing the look he gave the girl with a smirk.
"Yeah, I think she needs to be punished, perhaps you should bring your new human to watch." Sam said cruelly, taking ahold of Melanie's arm roughly and pulling her away from Jessie.
Jessie nodded thoughtfully, "Yes..that may be a good idea....."
Sam glanced over his shoulder. "I left Catalina unconscious back there. I guess I should go get her, lets meet say, 3?"

(oooo! what's he gonna do? wait don't tell me!!!lol)
Melanie- I clenched my jaw when Sam grabbed me. I was almost free...

Tori- I froze when I heard the word escape. Worry came over me when I heard Sam's last sentance.

Sam started down the hall, dragging Melanie behind him.

Jessie walked back in the room, shaking his head sadly.

Tori- I looked down at the floor. "I-I heard everything," I said nervously.

Jessie looked up, his face expressionless. "We have to go, Sam's not a person you say no to...."

Sam stopped next to Catalina and gave her a harsh kick, "Get up."
She stirred a little.

Tori- I reluctantly nodded.

Melanie- I looked at Catalina sadly. She never did anything to get Sam's abuse, but yet she took it anyway. Why?

Jessie sighed and glanced at the clock before sitting on his bed. "Thirty minutes."

Sam growled and kicked her again, her eyes opened and she looked around quickly before muffling a groan and trying to pull herself up. Sam did it for her, grabbing her with his free arm and yanking her to her feet before dragging them both down the hall.

Tori- I glanced at the clock and looked back at the floor, worrying about what was going to happen. I knew it couldn't be good.

Melanie- I winced at the pain in my arm as Sam made me walk down the hall.

Jessie sighed as the clock almost reached three, "Lets go."

Sam grinned and gestured for Melanie and Catalina to come here. "It's almost time....."

Tori- I was quiet, still very nervous about what I would see.

Melanie- I didn't want to go with him, but I did for Catalina's sake.

Catalina looked at the floor as she walked over to where Sam stood by the door. She'd been broken along time ago, her spirit snuffed out by abuse and hate. She couldn't imagine trying to escape like Melanie did.....
Sam grabbed them both and dragged them to the courtyard.

Jessie sighed and took Tori's arm gently and led her to the courtyard.

Tori- I let him lead me, avoiding looking at him. I was too scared to do anything at the moment.

Jessie reached the courtyard and took a seat on a stone to the edge, sitting Tori next to him.
"Okay if I don't join in?" He asked Sam hopefully and received a glare in reply.
"I hate you...."

Tori- I couldn't bring myself to look up at Sam.

Sam threw Catalina towards Jessie and jerked Tori in front of him. "You saw Jessie's punishment, you know what happens now right?"

Tori- I shuddered. "Something bad, obviously."
