Josie relaxed into his hold, her eyes staying shut as she drifted off. A smile on her lips as she murmured, "I love you Sam."

"I love you too, Jos." Sam murmered and kissed her gently, waiting till she was asleep before he pulled away and passed out next to her.

Sariah woke, her stomach growling. She nudged Lark. "Lark. Lark. I'm hungry."

Tears came down faster. "Who would we wait for? Its just us so far that I have seen." Megan said.

"Megan, we have to wait until morning. The road won't be visible at all, and there are at least five families that are leaving tomorrow as well. Just calm down, alright?" Henry held her close.

Lark woke and blinked a few times, "What...oh, I'll go get you something." He peeled himself from the bed and left the tent.

Sariah snuggled into the blankets, not liking how cold it was without him. She yawned, then froze, hearing the sound of paws on the outside of the tent. The sound disapeared and she shook it off as just it being left overs from her nightmare.

Megan ouldnt stop. "I..." She pulled away and walked away from him. Pain was in her heart. The night we be on them soon and the wolfs would find him and her and... she couldnt think anymore she needed to find Sariah.

Lark walked over to the food tents and purchased several honey rolls before heading back whistling. Maybe everything was going to be okay.

Megan saw Lark. "Lark! Were is Sariah?" She asked tears streaming. "I need to talk to her."

He looked up at Megan, a little worried. "In the tent, what's wrong?" He grabbed her arm lightly to keep her from running away without an answer.

"Look I cant talk about it. I need to find her and tell something." Megan said and gave him a sad smile. "Its ok you dont need to worry like Henry is already doing."

Lark frowned but let her go, "Alright....."

Megan smiled and kissed his cheek with thanks. "Thank you." She said. "Wait... I have to ask... How are you doing with the loss..." She asked feeling bad for Lark. She put her hand on his sholder and smiled softly.

Lark's mood dropped, his eyes darkening, this wasn't something he wanted to talk about. "I'm fine. Sariah seems better, now that she is looking towards the future new baby."

Megan nodded and backed away. "Im sorry if I said anything to upset you... I only care." She said quietly.

Lark tried to bring the smile back to his lips, the light back to his eyes. "No, its fine. I'm glad you care."

Megan could tell he was lying. "Dont lie to me... I know it hurts... its like my brother when... I killed him." She said looking down tears falling.

Sariah, having fallen back asleep, woke up screaming because of nightmares.

Megan turned and ran towards a tent. "Sariah?!?!" She asked freaking out.

Lark followed her, worry grasping his heart as he darted into the tent, honey rolls in hand. "Sariah??"

Sariah was sitting there with tears rolling down her cheeks, her skin sweaty, her hair sticking to her face. She reached for Lark, her hands shaking. Stupid nightmares.

Lark rushed to her side, "Shh, its alright." He murmured pulling her into his arms. "Just a dream. Its just a dream." He pulled back to wipe the tears from her. Cheeks. "I got honey buns for my honey bun." He said with a goofy smile.

Sariah gave a small quivering smile, then burried her face in his shoulder, wanting his comfort. She took one of the rolls, and clutched it to her chest, nibbling at it slightly, her hunger getting the best of her despite her fear.
