Rita: "Sorry about...oh, nevermind." It doesn't even look like she cares. I grab my bag off the floor. "Well, I gotta go get settled in. Do I still have the same room?"

Sphynx: The train starts to slow down by the time I'm finished. "We're getting off on the next stop."

"Where is the next stop?" I asked, pretty much having given up hope of escape. Giving up wasn't a pleasent feeling

Where were they again? And do you want to do something with Jackson and Annabelle?

Eh... wherever you want, she moved, so it's open. Heck, they could have already arrived at DC if ya want, I am SOO looking forward to that. And sure

Sphynx: For the first time on this little adventure, I smirk. "Why DC of course. Where else?"

Jackson: Today's so boring. All the rebel wierdos went on super cool missions or went to visit some girl or something, leaving me all by myself. Not that I mind or anything, but I just there's not much else to do when they're busy. I asked the crackheads to shoot craps with me, but they're busy. Then I went to a bar to watch the tv they have in there, but it's only the boring news. So now I'm pedaling my bike down the sidewalk trying to figure out how to pop a wheelie and failing miserably.

Kay, and they were the kids from the Woodstock chat. Since that wasn't gonna be starting again anytime soon and we missed the little guys, we decided to put them in here.

My blood froze. This really was happening, wasn't it? No lies, no kidding around... DC. The center of madness itself. Suddenly I was more afraid than I had ever been in my entire life."What is he really like? Is he as crazy as they say?"

I crossed my arms as I skipped, which was awful funny looking, but I was cold. Stupid jacket with stupid apple juice all over it... stupid was essentially my version of that funny sounding word that rhymes with 'Duck the my brother will sometimes say. Only when he's really angry though. Then I saw a boy about my age on his bike. Grinning evil, I grabbed a stick and jammed it in his front tire's spokes

Sure, her and Mat are in the diner.

Myrah: I don't wait to see if she takes the money. I hurriedly pull my hood back over my head and head back out into the diner. Mat's doesn't look up when I reach the table. "You ok?" he asks. I nod. "Are you still hungry?" I hesitate for a moment. Food is the last thing I want right now, but I don't think Mat's eaten since the day before yesterday. "Yea," I say softly.

One of the only ways to stay alive is to have a routine, to keep myself going by going through the motions each day.
Part of my new routine since Myrah's been missing has been to go to this diner near the Cirque. Sort of near...well, I don't mind walking.
I go in and sit at the counter, waiting for the waitress to come by. By now she probably has my order memorized, as it's always the same, anyway.

Sphynx: Depends on what he wants, I think but decide to keep that to myself. If he wants her alive, he probably wants her to think the best of him. "He's eccentric," I say instead. "Knows talent when he sees it and appriciates it. But he's nice for a dictator."

Lol, I think this is the third time she's done that to him too.

Jackson: Suddenly I notice a girl my age glaring at me. I start to stick out my tongue at her but before I know it the sidewalk is racing towards my face. I fall face first to the ground, my bike crashing into a bush. I'm up in an instant although I can't feel most of my face. "What the hell was that for?!"

Myrah: "Whatever you do, don't turn around." When I look up Mat's face is ten shades paler than it should be. "What's wrong?" I whisper. "Is it someone we know?" He nods. "Who?" He looks at something behind me and back again. "Larry."

The waitress brings me a cup of coffee and I take a sip.
Time to people watch.
I scan the diner and notice two people that I've never seen here before.
Though something about them, for some reason, seems familiar.
Just a coincidence, I tell myself, and turn away.

"This isn't a talent thing, is it?! Because I don't have any. Nope, no siree. None. Especially singing" I said quickly. If this was just some talent scout thing, then Imcouldmgo home then, right? ...but if it was just that, I wouldn't have been stabbed. Right

I looked at him strangely "Wasn't FOR anything" My voice carried a 'you idiot' tacked at the end "Just bored"

Mat: "Holy shit!" Myrah jumps up but I pull her back down. "What are you doing?! We have to get out of here!" "But we need to do it without causing a scene! What were you planning on doing, storming out without paying so that the waiters come looking for us? Or did you want to go hide in the bathroom?" She let's out a sigh and I can hear the worry in her voice. "Wel what do you suppose we do?"

sooo.....

Sphynx: "Believe me when I tell you that if it were a talent thing, they wouldn't have sent me." People like Michelle and I are a little too rough for that kind of thing. The train stops and I head out as soon as the doors open.

Jackson: "Are you stupid or something?! I could've died! Or worse- you could've broken my bike!"

Mat and Myrah are still in the restaurant, Myrah tried to pay your person to keep mum about her being there and when she came back, Larry came in.

My eyes were as wide as sausers as I stepped out. There was just something different about DC, a different feel, an energy. Both wonderful and frightening at the same time.
