Milo stared at her blankly "Well what the fuck. We could have done that hours ago."

I chuckled and threw him a rueful look.
"Well maybe thats cause our immediate response was to get as shitfaced as possible. You should try something else next time."

"Hey, I was already 'shitfaced' when you got here, so my options were limited, as I couldn't think of more than one." Riiiinnngggg Riiiiinnngggg Riiinnng. Milo smiled cheekily before galncing at her phone "You gunna answer that or what?"

"Dont rush me, loser," I turned my back to him and crossed my legs. The phone rang again. "I hear ya I hear ya, quit your whining," I mumbled while answering it.

"Hello?"
"Sparrow, wha's going on, are you hurt?"
"No no, I just uh- I'm kinda in a spot right now, I need a hand."
"In a spot? What's happening, who should I call?"
"Nobody Spence! Look I just need you to come to Mosley's bar and open the door alright? I'm locked inside. Johnny's gonna have my head if I dont get over to the garage soon. So just get your ass over here and quit worrying so much!"
I hung up and rubbed my face. Uhg. Overprotective brothers. Sheesh.

"Does it really bother you that much to have someone care about you?" Milo asked as he studied Sparrow's face from behind her hands.

I turned to him, my expression unamused. "I dont need help. I do just fine on my own. And the one time- the one time, I give him the littlest bit of rope, he just starts freakin' out like "Who's ass do I haf to kick now!" and blah blah blah..." I trailed off, pushing off the counter and spinning my stool.

Milo grinned, the corners of his mouth lifting upwards to display a quirky smile as if pulling back a curtain. "Does that mean I should hide in the ladies when he gets here?"

I couldnt help the corners of my mouth as the curled upwards.
"And pray for your life. That too."
I pushed my bangs off my forehead. "Whats that?" I asked, pointing to the little dark corner that seemed to be some kind of secret passage way.

"Hm?" Milo muttered, turning his head back to look at where she pointed. "Oh, that. That my lady is the enterance to the celler."

"Creepy... Is that where you hide your dead bodies?"

"Yes, would you like to join them?" Milo chuckled as he swooped Sparrow up off her feet and into his arms, swaying a bit from the additional weight on his drunken feet.

The world sloshed around for a second.
"Whoahey, put me down, where're you going with me?" I slurred. I was tell my mouth to speak, but only about half of it was listening. My arms instintively flew around his neck as he stumbled forward, almost throwing me overboard.
"Wha's wrong with you?" I half mumbled half shouted.

Sparrow's impulse to throw her arms around Milo's neck dragged him forward. Suddenly with a rush he was tumbling to the ground. In order to avoid hurting her he rolled forward as he hit the floor, the motion virtually stopping her from touching the tile at all. It was instinct, pure muscle memory. When Milo lifted his head his face was a good five inches closer than it was before. Oops.

There was breath on my face. I opened my eyes and froze, finding myself inches away from his nose.
My heart kicked into overdrive and my thoughts ran away from me, so when I opened my mouth to speak, "Uh..." fell out of my head. Articulate, you wasted fool.

Without thinking seeming to think too hard about it Milo tilted his mouth closer, as if he was testing the water. He smiled as he heard Sparrow's breath hitch and quicken. His eyes felt like they were being weighed down by two sacks of potatoes. His hair fell into his face and onto the girls shoulder as he rested his head there, falling asleep instantly.

"UGH." I groaned as Milo's dead weight collasped ontop of me. "You stupid asshole," I bitched, wriggling and squirming my way out from under him. my phone started vibrating loudly against the tile.
"All I want to do is get the fuck out of this stupid fuckin place and away from this dumbass and all his shit and-"
Buzzzzzzz
"Will you shut up? I hear you!" I screamed at this stupid thing. Fuck. My. Life.

Through the haze he heard her pick up the phone "Hello?" he mocked, pulling his voice up an octave or two to piss her off.

I smacked him in the head and told him to shut the fuck up.
"Hey watch who your talking to runt."
"I wasn't talking to yoouu a-hole."
"Who else is there with you?!"
"Where are you!"
"I'm right outside, get your ass out here."
"Open da door an' whaever you do: dont close it!" I slurred, snapping the phone shut. I gave Milo a sidelong glance and sighed.
I nudged him, "Make yourself presentable,"

Tufts of hair stuck up on the side of his head that he had rested on her lap. He lazily patted at them and stood up, buttoning up his shirt a few holes. "Hows this?" he teased.

There was a loud click right before Spence started calling my name.
"Hold the door open!" I called in return, hoisting myself off the floor and pulling Milo along with me.
"Don't make any sudden movements," I half joked, half warned him. I tried to greet Spence with a sloppy smile.
"Thanks bro-"
"You owe me one," He decided. I waved him off.
"Yeah yeah, whatever."

Milo looked lethargically over Spence's shoulder as the door slammed shut behind him. "Good one man."

"What?" Spencer said like a douf and spun around to find the hyrolics on the door shut itself.
Hell fucking no, THIS WAS NOT HAPPENING TODAY.
"Shit... Shit shit shit shit! You stupid moron! Now we're right back where we started! FUCK MY LIIIIIIEEEE-FFFFUUUHHHH." I screamed, stomping in a circle.

"Nice to meet you." Milo stuck out his hand to shake Spencers.
