Till Death Do Us Part..

Brendon pressed his hips to hers, still not doing anything as he kissed her back, matching her passion.

Grace growled under her breath and did her best to press herself up against him.

Brendon smiled and finally complied, letting their bodies become one.

Artemis leaned back into his arms, enjoying the wind as it rushed through her hair. "do you ride a lot?"

"When ever I get the chance." Mark smiled as they picked up to an easy canter. "I use to ride coast to coast, way back when."

Artemis turned to look at him "really?"

Mark gave a small nod. "I hated being in one place." He gave a small smile as he looked down at her.

Artemis laughed, "I've noticed" She turned back and closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling

Mark smiled as he watched her, and gently brushed his lips against hers before holding her tighter and taking her through the forest paths to a meadow filled with flowers. He slid off, then reached up for her and helped her down. "What do you think?"

Artemis sunk into his arms and looked around, her eyes wide "it's beautiful" she breathed, her lips still tingling from his touch

Mark smiled as he held her close, his chin resting on her shoulder. "You can pick some if you'd like."

Artemis shook her head, not wanting to disturb the beauty around her "I'm okay" she looked over at him "you like the country?"

Mark looked at her and smiled widely. "Yes, very much so. It's better than the fast paced city."

Artemis nodded and looked back at the meadow "it's much more peaceful" she agreed

"No annoying neighbors to shoot you with water pistols either." Mark said with a wink.

Artemis giggled, "that too" she turned back to him and smiled "have you spoken to your brother at all? where is he?"

Mark sighed and shook his head, his face falling. "No, no I haven't. He's probably somewhere in the house."

Artemis frowned "what's wrong?"

"Nothing." Mark said, easily lightening his mood, hiding everything behind a mask of happyness. Though, it wasn't really all that much of a mask. She always made him happy...well most always.

Artemis frowned "alright..." she gave the meadow one last look, it was getting dark

"Ready to go back?" Mark asked as he watched her.

Artemis nodded and clinged to him "yes, please"

Mark smiled and lifted her up onto the horse and swung up behind her and started back through the woods and into the fields, the sun setting on the horizen.

Artemis starred around them, sinking back into his arms. it really was beautiful. she could get use to this

They trotted the rest of the way home, stopping to get Artemis's horse, and taking it back to the barn. Once again he slid off and helped her down gently before turning to the horse and removing their saddles and putting them away. "There should be a burlap sack over on the bench table. In it are some sugar cubes if you want to give them some."
