Till Death Do Us Part..

Artemis sighed and pulled away, resting her head on his chest and listening to his heartbeat "mark?" she whispered

"Yes, Artemis?" Mark asked, his heart beating wildly still. He held her, rubbing her back gently.

"I, I love you"
there, she said it.
Her heart stuttered, expecting him to say he liked someone else more.
the sounds of Mark and Nellie... doing it, echoed through her head, taunting her.

Mark's heart skipped a beat and he held her close, burrying his face in her neck. "I love you too, Artemis. I love you more than life itself." He murmered, feeling inadiquate. Like he didn't deserve her love at all.

Artemis slide over to his side of the car and onto his lap "really?"
(haha, I think that's pretty impressive of us- 120 pages in and our charries are now finally becoming a couple. talk about a build up)

(haha yes, that is very impressive I think that's the longest our charries have gone without hooking up. Although, Kale and Artemis are doing a pretty good job at not hooking up yet and they've been with each other for a while)

Mark held her close as he watched her. "Yes, really Artemis." He said softly as he kissed her forehead. "I always have, and always will."

(haha, true. they are close though, no? I like the longer build ups.. charries always seem to lose their spunk once they find their other half. at least this way, the change is gradual ^.^)
Artemis grinned, only partly believing his words but it felt good to hear them anyway. She leaned back, accidentally hitting the door handle and sending them tumbling out

Mark tucked himself under her so she landed ontop of him. He hit the ground with an umph, loosing his breath as she landed ontop of him. He groaned, but it gradually turned into a chuckle.

(haha yes that is so true! *hangs head* I wish I had a cc for Alice. She's a firey little thing xD reminds me of the music video for Misery by Maroon 5, although she does have a taste for alcohol...)

Artemis blinked then started giggling as well, a little forced at first, but quickly turning natural

(ha no. She's just got a temper xD she's mouthy and teases those who try and take her body, then beats them)

Mark's chuckles turned into laughs as he held her close, kissing her gently and shaking his head. This was definately an interesting night.

(a sample of alice-
"I need a whiskey please Bert." The man frowned.
"You're under age Alice, you know that."
"Ya, and you're over weight but you still eat!"
Bert grumbled and shook his head. "Do you want water in it?"
Alice glared at him, "if I want water, then I'll drink water. If I want whiskey, then I'll drink whiskey.")

Artemis splayed herself across him, returning the kiss happily. his kiss felt so different than that of....
she pushed away the thought

Mark kissed her back as he held her, his fingers trailing down her spine. He stopped and balled his hands into fists, not wanting to hurt or scare her.

Artemis tensed for a moment but quickly relaxed, his touch nothing like she had thought it would be. it felt wonderful.
she wrapped her arms around his neck and embedded her hands in his hair, letting him know it was okay. she was okay

Mark let his hands unfurl, his finger tips brushing the skin just below the edge of her shirt. He still wasn't totally sure that she was ok with it, so he didn't want to touch her to much. But he did kiss her, a fire burning slowly in him like molton metal, moving happily beneath his skin.

Artemis frowned, feeling his hesitation. Was she doing something wrong? she had never done this before.. she didn't know what to do. was it her? or something else.
oh, wait. right.. he had just been though an ordeal herself. how selfish of her. She unwilling broke the kiss, her eyes sad

Mark looked up at her, his hands resting on the small of her back. "What's wrong?" he asked as he watched her carefully.

"you don't want to?" she asked back, trying to bite back the need and hide her disappointment

Mark looked at her confused and shook his head. "No, no I want to." He watched her carefully. "I just don't want to hurt you. I don't want to scare you."

Artemis kissed him softly "I don't think you could hurt me if you tried"
Unless he left her.. that would hurt like hell

Mark kissed her back, holding her close, his hands sliding beneath her shirt, roaming her back. He kept his eye on her, waiting for a sign that said it was to much.

Artemis tensed for a moment before she relaxed, his touch feeling wonderful. Was it always suppose to feel this way?
she didn't know, but she liked it.
she pulled him closer

Mark deepened the kiss a little, his hands trailing up and down her sides. He still kept an eye on her, waiting for the sign that it was to much.

Artemis sighed happily, not rushing things, just content with enjoying the moment

Mark let his hands continue with the same patterns it had been doing, not doing anything more, or anything less. "You ok?" he asked, making sure he wasn't doing something wrong.
