Lou looked around and found a pen and paper and wrote on it quickly and showed it to him. "I can't talk Jackson. Remember?"

Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Jackson shook his head desperately. "Where are we?" He quickly wrote back. "I remember laying down t go to sleep, IN MY BED."
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou felt tears rush to her eyes. "There was a crash Jackson. We were in Vegas for my birthday, remember? Jarred fell asleep at the wheel on the way home."

Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Jackson rubbed his neck, "Your birthday isn't for another six months." He jotted down confused. "How do you know we're taking you to Vegas?"
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
A tear escaped Lou's cheek and she sighed. "My birthday was four days ago Jackson." She sighed and grabbed his medical chart and handed it to him, showing him the date.

Jackson stared at it, unable to really take in what he saw. "How?" He asked aloud then saw the patient name on the chart. Jackson. He too a deep breath, flashes, glimces of pain striking his mind as little bits of the crash made it through. He rubbed his shoulder again and jotted down, "what happened to you? Is Jerred okay?"
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou shook her head, another trail of tears making it's way down her cheeks. She'd been doing this for the last four days. She wasn't sure how much more of this she could handle. "Jarred is dead, Jackson. Jarred is dead and I lost my hearing." She forced herself from the bed and into the wheelchair, shaking her head. She was breaking. She couldn't break infront of him. She did her best to wheel out of the room, and started down the hall.

Jackson stared after her and stood to follow, but his head spun. Clutching it he managed to hit the call button before collasping.

Lou tried to ignore the nurses rushing to his room, but she couldn't she got herself turned around and sat in the door way and watched, the tears coursing down her cheeks freely.

They worked quickly placing him back in the bed and sticking the I.V.s and other items he'd torn out back in. His breathing was shallow but steady as they finished and checked his vitals before leaving the room. "You'd think that boy would learn to leave those things in." One of the nurses muttered as she left .
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou watched. She sighed taking the gauze and wrap off her arm again, throwing it to the floor. With a grimace she rolled herself over to Jackson, her face still streaming with tears as she watched him.

Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Jackson stirred slightly, turning onto his side then grimacing in his sleep as that put him on his shoulder.
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou sighed and slipped her scared hand into his as she watched him, pursing her lips as she tried to put her usual mask in place. It was harder this time. Each time it got harder, and harder, but this time. This time it almost didn't work. She gave his hand a slight squeeze, ignoring the pain that shot through her own.

Jackson opened his eyes and looked at her, a little confused for a moment, then his mind fell back into the mind set of the night before. "Hey Lou." He mouthed."Why am I hooked to these things again? I thought I'd gotten rid of them."
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou forced a smile, her lips still trembling slightly. "You collapsed," she mouthed. Her cheeks were still wet with tears.

Jackson frowned and held her hand tighter upon noticing the tears. "Hey." He mouthed concern filling his eyes. "What's wrong.?"
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou took a deep breath, closing her eyes and shook her head, once again pushing back the pain that came from her scarred hand. "Nothing." she mouthed looking back at him and forcing a smile. "Just scared me."

Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Jackson smiled softly, "Don't be scared." He mouthed releasing her hand. "I'm fine. " as if to prove his point Jackson started to sit up his fingers going to yank on the cords.
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou set her hand on his and shook her head. She found the notepad again and sighed. "Don't rip them out again. It just ruins your veins and you'll be in here longer and they'll stick them else where were you can't reach them."

Jackson frowned but let go grumbling to himself. "Fine." He wrote back. "I wont. How are you feeling?"
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou closed her eyes for a moment and sighed. "I'm fine." She gave him another smile, beneath the surface her heart tearing to shreds. "What do you remember?"

Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
"Everything basically from waking up yesterday in the hospital, and a few memories I've told you about, then a lot of glimces of stuff that makes no sense. " He hesitated. "I remember the crash."
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou bit her lip and watched him for a moment. "What do you remember about it" she scribbled.

Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Jackson squeezed his eyes shut for a moment before opening them to write. "I can remember being worried and moving over to see what was going on when Jarred started drifting. I can remember the fear as my bike caught the tire of your car as you started to spin from the impact of hitting something else. Then, I remember lots of pain."
Re: It happened on Sunday morn'....
Lou watched him carefully and nodded. Good. Now the trick was to get him to stay in this rememberance instead of waking up and being three months behind in time. It almost felt like he had alternate personalities. She looked down at her scarred hand, taking a deep breath. Why was it so hard to keep herself together?
