Brok: I shrugged. "He's just...Trey." I laughed. Where was the boy? I spotted him walking by. "Yo, Trey!"

Trey: I turned around. "What?"

Brok: "Have you seen my drum sticks?"

Trey: I sighed. "You left them in my room again. Hey, Dakota."

Dakota: "Hi," I muttered, pretending to examine my sharpie-fied nails.

Brok: "Let's go get them," I said.

Trey: "I'll go take care of it. You wait here." With that, I left to go look.

Dakota: I rocked back and forth on my heels waiting.

Brok: "I hope he finds some..." We could get by without drums, but the fast songs would be a bit lame.

Dakota: "What if he doesn't?"

Brok: "I dunno. Maybe the guards will go buy some? Or I could get branches," I joked.

Dakota: "Silly Brokkoly," I muttered. Hurry up, Trey.

Brok: "Okay, so no branches," I said, grinning.

Trey: I returned with his lucky drum sticks. "Found them."

Brok: I hugged him. "Thank you!"

Trey: "Get off me..."

Dakota: "Gay," I coughed over the word, kidding.

Brok: I let go of Trey, who immediately ran off. "That's how you get rid of him," I said, smirking.

Dakota: I shrugged. "Yeah, well...when do you go on?"

Brok: "I think it's in ten minutes or so."

Dakota: I nodded. "What do you do until then?"

Brok: I smiled. "Spend time with you."

Dakota: I laughed. "You're so sweet."

Brok: I laughed. "Sweet? Most people don't describe as sweet. Usually it's 'unruly' or 'boisterous' or 'too loud.'"

Dakota: "But I love you, so you're sweet. Not those other things." I smiled and hugged him.

Brok: I laughed and kissed her cheek. "That's nice to hear, dear."

Dakota: "Nice to hear?" Not the answer I was expecting.

Brok: I laughed and sighed. "Hm. Hey, what time is it?"

Dakota: "Probably time for you to go on stage."

Brok: I sighed and kissed her. "Come back here when we play the last song, okay?"

Dakota: "Um, okay..." I shrugged and nodded.

Brok: I smiled. "See you then, babe," I said, leaning in and kissing her.
