The Summer that changed my life forever...

Dakota: I sighed and walked over to his room, knocking on the door and not waiting for anyone to get it. What did he want me to do now? I stood in his room awkwardly, he was on his bed and Fiona was...drifting around.

Brok: I smiled at Dakota and got out of bed. I pulled on a shirt before I went to hug her. "Hey."

Fiona: I rolled my eyes. "You again?"

Dakota: I hugged him back, just to bother Fiona. But I didn't really feel like hugging him. "Yeah, me again. Why are you still here?"

Fiona: I shrugged. "Why not? Kent loves me. Speaking of Kent, I think I'll go make breakfast for him. I'll cook for you two also if you want!"

Brok: What was with the sudden change in moods? "Uh, yeah, let's go eat..."

Dakota: I pulled away from Brok. "I'm not hungry. I'm flying home today, remember? In ... a couple hours. So I need to...pack. Or something." My eyes flashed a second, not kidding about the flying home part -- though I hadn't mentioned it until just now, the plan had been for me to stay with him for weeks. It had occurred to me last night that maybe I shouldn't be here, and then Fiona showing up and re-claiming Brok ...yeah. Besides, we'd been dating a month. I was pushing things.

Brok: She was leaving? Today? While Fiona was here? What was she talking about? I glanced over at Fiona, then back at Dakota. "Can I talk to you alone for a second?"

Fiona: I sighed, starting to get bored. "If you need me, I'll be cooking," I said and went to go poke around the kitchen for cereal. Well, that counted as cooking for me.

Brok: I tapped my feet on the ground for a moment before really looking at Dakota. "What's wrong, Kota?"

Dakota: I looked up at the ceiling and shrugged slightly. "It doesn't matter." Wow, he didn't even know? Maybe he didn't know me as well as I thought he did. Maybe I didn't know /him/ as well as I thought I did. Maybe I was being a stupid teenaged girl, thinking he was actually in love with me. Yeah, right.

(This is really random, but I found a certain chat where people were being, well, rude. o.O wow I'm glad I don't talk to them...)

Brok: I frowned. "It does matter," I said. "Are you really leaving today? You didn't exactly tell me."

(What chat?)

Dakota: "Yeah. Well. You didn't exactly tell me Fiona was here." I dropped my eyes from the ceiling to his eyes.

(La Push)

Brok: I frowned. "I didn't know she was coming," I said. "She just kinda showed up. She likes to do that."

(Ahh. Yeah.)

Dakota: My eyes narrowed slightly. "So then you do talk to her a lot still." He had said awhile back that he didn't. "And she has a key...anyway, I do actually have to go get ready. Bye." I brushed past him for the door.

Brok: I ran after her. "Kent gave her the key!" I sighed. "It was too annoying having her bang on the door at five in the morning every day so he just gave it to her! And I barely talk to her anymore!"

Dakota: I rolled my eyes. "Right. Whatever, Brok. You probably still sleep with her."

Brok: I stopped dead in my tracks. Had she really just said that out loud? "Excuse me?" That was only once! I'd kept pretty far away from her after that.

Dakota: I bit my lip, having forgotten that he didn't know Trey told me that. Shakily, I tried to shrug again. "I said you're probably still sleeping with her."

Brok: I narrowed my eyes. "How do you even know if I even slept with her once or not?" It wasn't like I'd tried to sleep with Dakota, although I had to admit I'd thought about it maybe once or twice.

Dakota: I looked at my feet. "Someone told me. The same someone that asked me if /I/ wanted to sleep with you." I had told Brok about that. About the creepy questions Trey asked me.

Brok: I frowned. That could only be one person. "I thought you didn't like Trey. And now you're talking to him all of a sudden? And you think you have the right to think I'm cheating on you with Fiona?"

Dakota: "Popstars have that kind of reputation...." I trailed off and started walking again. Now I'd /really/ fucked things up.

Brok: I shook my head. "And you think I'm just like the rest of them?" Why was she always so critical of me anyway? "If that's what you think, then you don't really know me."

Dakota: I stopped, not looking back at him, and gulped. "Yeah, maybe I don't," I said quietly, before slipping inside my room, which I'd finally reached.

Brok: Why didn't I think before I spoke? I went back to Dakota's door and knocked on it. "Kota! Look, I'm sorry about what I said. Can we talk about it?"

(I looked up the guy that we found for Brok's pics again...he's so hot. lmao)

Dakota: "No," I said, locking the door as a tear slid down my cheek. I shoved whatever I'd taken out of my bag back into it.

(he is! *sighs* i'm glad you found him, much cuter than the other guy.)

Brok: I sighed. "Listen to me for once, would you?" I slumped down on the floor, knocking my head against the door. "What more do you want me to do?"

Dakota: "Maybe I don't want you to do anything," I said, not knowing what I meant by that. It was just the first thing that came to mind.
